I hate to agree with razervon, but he’s right. The JH-7 is a better Mirage F1 that’s .3 higher. I’ve only flown it in the test flight, but the JH-7 feels way better than the F1 which is already a good underrated fighter. Plus with all the complaining I see about China not getting Chinese vehicles I’d have guessed you guys would’ve been happier with this than an Su-30.
Chinese player would be very very happy if this can be provided in time. We know this is a nice made in China vehicle, but it just way too late.

I’ve completed the Soviet air tree using the MiG-23ML, and I’m about to finish the US air tree with the F-20A (currently researching Rank VIII).
Next, I plan to start progressing through the Chinese air tree (currently around Rank III).
To be honest, the JH-7A doesn’t appeal to me at all — it feels like a vehicle with no unique characteristics or real purpose.
I really hope Gaijin introduces a more impressive and distinctive premium aircraft for the Chinese air tree in the future, rather than something that feels bland and unnecessary.

You get the point, Mirage was introduced like 3 years ago, like, I’m not saying it’s bad, but just too late when everyone else’s getting 4th gen fighters, Chinese TT get a large Tornado/Mirage.

I mean, when everyone else’s getting all aspects IR missles or even with IRCCM, China got none,
now 4th gen packs or packs with radar missiles shot from 10km, China gets this.
We all pay 80 bucks for a rank VIII pack, why Chinese get out-of-date pack?

I get it. But right now France has the Mirage F1 and an F-16 squadron vehicle that only gets IR missiles.
China at least gets a better F1 and a squadron vehicle with active radar missiles. China probably should have gotten something better, but its in a better place than France. Israel too I think?

In my opinion, GAIJIN just aint that want our money. If theres the willing, it could give us a golden JH7A with 4kh29 + 2pl5e2 + 2*(PL12+2*pl5 but radar head or if aint want just 5e2 or 5c is ok) , that could earn easier and feedback better. And the br is equal to others newest craft too. Due those f18s and other 13.0 golden ones, an JH7A in 12.3 with only pl5e2 do sucks be target at most time which means no fun for player.

What are you talking about? JH-7A has had all-aspect IR missiles for years now…
Not only that but JH-7A is a top 5 [more if you count 2x F-18s] 12.3 without IRCCM missiles.
With IRCCM missiles JH-7A is a #1 12.3 surpassing even F-18C, where the lowest BR dogfight 4x + IRCCM missile slinger is 13.0: F-16A for France, which itself is under-BR’d alongside 10 other 13.0s].
So congrats, China’s getting a premium as OP as F-18A if it keeps PL-5EIIs.

Well to put things into perspective, F-18C is a 13.0 at 12.7.
If JH-7A premium comes to War Thunder with PL-5EIIs then it’s a 13.0 at 12.3.
All because there are 11 13.0s that shouldn’t be there, and 14 that should.
So what do you want as a rank 8 premium fighter then? Some J-10? Some Flanker? There’s quite a few options
Main goal is to get yourself into the J-7E and then go from there. So A-5C, J-7D do the job fine. I’d rather they focus on actual tech tree additions.
I’ve always hoped the F-CK-1 would exist as a paid pack, but Gaijin hasn’t done it. I don’t know what the difficulties are for Gaijin regarding this aircraft.

Me too, but as a tree vehicle since I really don’t think block a mass produced at service vehicle behind the pay wall is a good choice, but this hon from ROCAF is believed as the first Independent Asian 4th Gen aircraft
J-7E with talisman is a compensation but pack shoot missiles with base-grinding capability is the way ppl grind tech tree

- J-10 Early is a 4th Gen aircraft, so fair square
- J-10 Early is not a copy-paste but an independently made one with tech tree feature
- J-10 Early shares almost the same model as J-10A, so no independent modeling, save the cost from Gaijin
- To sell packs, Gaijin will fix J-10 family’s maliciously added ridiculous air drag and top speed just like how they fix and end the torture of JH-7A at 12.3 with only 4 PL-5C without IRCCM now.
- J-10 Early was in last year’s leak list, so they prolly once had a folder for it and it’s not a new project
