FM is a byproduct of Engine in J-11B case because majority of J-11B upgrade was on internals and weapon system, Radar… idk if it’s better than Captor, APG-70 or RBE-2 since I don’t have any point of comparison, but this thing do scan fast.
Still, 6 missiles against other that carry 8 + 2 is ain’t it. rare for you to get that close and expend all 4 PL-8B soo…
English is not my main language. I have a lot of difficulty with grammar and sometimes when I use translate it doesn’t help me much, but is it really that difficult to understand what I meant in the post?
Or he has some problems of interpretation or of recognizing reality?
It is not difficult to read, in fact is well writen (at least thats what i think, my main language is spanish).
The problem is AlvisWisla and his need to disagree on anything he sees on the forum and ignorance of the game.
I don’t think it has much to do with political bias or communism, it’s about questionable decisions that the company makes within the game.
This problem does not only exist in Russia in contrast to China, it also happens even more frequently with the USA and Israel for example; just as the j11A was a bad addition because it was much inferior to the su27sm, the Baz meshupar came to the game in the seek a s destroy update without data link on the radar and without tws mode, it was literally an f15A with fox3 m, and it took almost 4 months to fix.
Israel operates or has operated f16s block 1 to 15, 30, 40 and 50, but in the game the worst possible variant was always added in the worst timming possible.
The first fox3 platform that Israel received was the f16D block 40 with derby, the first modern f16 that Israel received was the f16D while the US had the f16C block 50.
when Israel received its f16C the worst possible block was chosen. They did not choose block 30 because it is an f16 with FM similar to that of the A but with fox 3 and a block 50 was not chosen like that of the United States but with more countermeasures.
Block 40 was chosen, the worst of both worlds, it has neither engine nor radar like the Block 50 and is less agile and heavier than a Block 30.
When the F15I was added to the game, there was controversy over the engines, which caused this forum to explode with complaints, because “where have you ever seen an Israeli vehicle have something better than the American one?”
the lack of AGM on the f15I took a patch to resolve.
Israeli planes are also usually over BR, just look at the netz and kfir series.
The problem is not political or nationalist bias or political economic ideology (communism)… the problem is how gaijin treat minor nations.
The gaijin have difficulty balancing and giving attention and correct treatment to the “minor nations”.
I don’t even know how Rafale is in the meta/spotlight, since France is a minor nation, usually the nerf hammer hits hard on the minor nations or they are sidelined.
Which is also another issue, China should not be a minor nation, Germany, Russia and the US being the main nations until World War II and the middle of the Cold War is correct…
The problem is that from the 80s to the present day the multipolar world is divided between the US, China and Russia, and war thunder has difficulty making this transition, and this difficulty comes from the player base, mainly from the Western player base or from a bias more aligned with American foreign policies, these people cannot see China as a global power and consolidated military power.
conclusion… it is not political, national or economic-ideological bias, the problem is the players and the game company who forget that this game has 10 nations, and there is always a tug of war between the US and Russia, especially on the forum, while the real problem is neglected.
This discrepancy in treatment does not only exist between Russia and China, it also exists between the US and Israel, the US and Japan or between the US and Russia against the European nations present in the game.
After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Germany and Russia no longer have any commercial or military ties.
mig29 was the last soviet aircraft that germany had, including Germany has one of the best mig29 in the game which is mig29G.
Germany has no connection with Soviet equipment, the last MiG-29 was withdrawn from service in 2004, almost 21 years ago, Germany does not operate anything Soviet.
PESA is still notched just as everything else.
TVC is a neat trick in 1v1s but you lose out on sustained turning.
I of course agree that J-11B’s CAS capabilities are currently balanced for ground RB and not OP like Su-30SM’s, F-15E/I, or Rafale/Mirage.
That thrust disadvantage means the J-11B can use the hyper-aggressive climb strategy while the Su-30SM can’t even be as aggressive as the F-18C due to its slower climb rate.
If and when Gaijin ever gets around to modeling pylon mass and drag, Su-30SM becomes even slower while J-11B takes less of a hit.
And with the new SPAA coming to China that’s of 18km range, I expect J-11B’s CAS capabilities to become unusable entirely, all to fight the OP nature of IR AGMs.
Oh, and 2 more countermeasures of Su-30SM isn’t notable.
And how does that change the fact that germany always got the same aircraft patches after russia?
No clue what you are talking about, but the quick example germany as a fact did receive both the mig 29 and the mig29h a patch after russia. Germany did operate plenty of russian equipment and that is still a fact in the game
ever looked at german ground exports? we still have plenty of ground assests we work on and export only air is more restricted.
I agree china should be more appreciated, but you dont seem to understand what i was talking about
I don’t see the value in complaining about Jet additions in regards to Ground RB, the Kh-38 is a deeply unserious addition to the game that everyone has to suffer
