Chieftain MBTs Leyland L60 Multifuel 2 stroke diesel

We all know about its infamous engine that had reliability issues in the beginning. These where mostly ironed out by the Mk.5 variant that was fitted with the Leyland L60 4Mk.7A. With later Chieftains receiving the same engine and further upgrades on them.

In game the Mk10 chieftain has an unnamed engine developing 760 HP at 2550 RPM these are not the correct values for the variant of engine. It should have the L60 Mk.11a and developed 840 HP.

Mk.3 gets the Mk.6a making 650 BHP

Mk.5 gets the Mk.7a making 720 BHP

The Vickers Vijayanta should have the Mk.4B and make 540 Hp

Vickers Mk.1 should get the Mk.4a/2 and make 650 HP

Side note Gaijin really doesn’t like Britain and makes it so difficult for any changes to be made.

Chieftain Mk.10 is missing almost 100 BPH. Gaijin hates the British reason number 1023…
and now they wont Accept the bug report as it is not a Russian vehicle lol.

Lastly the L60 is a 2 cycle diesel engine and should sound like it is revving twice as fast as it really is. In game while driving it sounds like it has the same exhaust note as say a leo 1 and the leo 1 has a 4 cycle engine. Here’s a Chieftain under load you can here how aggressive it sounds. Reminder that’s at most 2500 RPM.
