Exactly, most modern jets in the game are added with latest specs, it would have to be straight up malicious for them to break this rule only with an important chinese jet.

agree, personally it’s outrageous if this is not labelled as J-10C Early and coming as the only J-10C for all time in the chinese tree… and needs to be changed to WS-10B if that is the case…

worst CD0 out of all the deltacanards and a gimped engine would not be good… by the looks of the trailer im not sure if it’s getting it’s belly rack PL-12s either, but that’s to be seen on dev server
yeah it’s unnecesary, if they want filler the J-10B exists as well, they could just add it instead if they think they need more, there’s also a plethora of other chinese planes that have yet to be added
I’ll bet they will add it, so that it at least seems worth it. I am wayyy more worried about their FM.

Its collision clipping yes the dual PL-12 rail is on top of it but thats definitely the tripple bomb rack in it

im worried about the fm as well, situation will not be good if gaijin puts the 9+ ton empty weight value for the J-10C instead of the more probable one… paired with no WS-10B it will be super depressing

I mean series 5 will still get us 14t thrust, even though that is not so good. Drag is way more problematic, even if the thrust is just 13 or so tonnes, it will still be consistent with J-10A but with AESA and better weapons. The excess drag if removed could get it to be on par with J-11B kinetically at least which will be a good step up, although that is a lot of 'if’s.
yup, personally my WS-10B estimate is around ~140kN of thrust with J-10C channel loss factored in, basing this on a 10-12% improvement over WS-10A, can’t remember the source but that is derived from current ingame J-11B thrust

There was a source suggesting an unspecified certified engine in 2013 or so that has thrust improvement of 12%. IDK about how Gaijin is gonna view that one though.
i think it was the WS-10B that has the ~12% improvement over the WS-10A… either way i have no doubts of the chinese playerbase and smart people’s capability to bug report these flaws to hell when dev server drops tonight

i am very curious on what empty weight source gaijin is going to use, i can’t imainge they’d trust that shady website from where the 9.5t dry weight was taken and spread over wiki and all those… i do pray we have 8700kg as it’s weight

i really really really hope the WS-10B comes instead of this… it is going to be so much better with it, especially depending on empty weight of the J-10C currently which we don’t know until dev
I wonder what the SNS bomb is, the model seems laser, but considering it’s position in research line, maybe gaijin made it IR
