It’s not close though.
F-16MLU should be same as France F-16AM, but it comes earlier and has it’s place there so it can’t get what F-16AM has before something take this place.
And F-16V is too advanced to add now

A F-16A MLU Late isn’t off the table you know? And the missing ordinances have been acknowledged as well including the AIM-120, all we can do is hope - and not to mention any Pakistani F-16 variant we could get.
Also, with the current rate of things I could see the F-16V being added within a years time, we’ve just gotten a ludicrously good F-15E so I’d assume this Christmas update has the Typhoon and Rafale packing inside of it.

You’re probably right but I do believe it’s going to be the Super Hornet, if I recall the Super Hornet got confirmed by the Chinese leaker for the future and there isn’t any current plans for the legacy Hornet besides the Swiss one as of right now (or for this Christmas update at least).
I’d say the update would contain the J-11B and/or J-15, the Super Hornet, Swiss legacy Hornet, Rafale, Typhoon and probably more.
We could also see the J-10B depending on how good the Typhoon or Rafale is.

Typhoon if I remember correctly is delayed to next year, maybe first major update of 2025.
I think there is a likelihood of naval aircraft update this December, so J-15, Su-33, F-18s.
J-11B could possibly be December as well but it might be next year in a minor update.
And J-10B will probably come out with the Typhoon and Rafale in the first major update of next year.
Just my predictions.

though I prefer something, maybe J-8H or J-10 protype with PL-11, take it’s place, and they directly upgrade the existing mlu.

That’s just ridiculous then, Britain and especially Germany need a native top tier vehicle which isn’t just straight up a** (looking at you F-4F KWS).
If I remember correctly early Typhoons in German service should be capable of carrying the AIM-9L/I and the AIM-120B which is more than balanced but I don’t think the same can be said for Britain as I’m not sure if they ever used AIM-9s on their Typhoons but instead ASRAAMs (probably wrong tbf).
Germany can maybe get a Swiss F-18.
Britain can get one through Canada.
True, the Swiss F/A-18 did get leaked by the reliable Chinese guy but it’s still silly how long the Eurofighter has been delayed for, it should’ve been introduced with limited ordinances as a early variant alongside a early Rafale when the J-10A was added.

I’d like to somewhat revive this thread as I feel like the J-10A is missing all types of ordinances, it’d also be great to gather information here for the J-10B and whenever that gets introduced.
There’s no way on earth the J-10A could only carry 2x LGB/GPS Bombs.

It should be able to carry more, but how do we prove it to Gaijing without photos.
J10B is a bit obscure cause we can’t even determine which radar it mounted, and whether it was PESA AESA or simply a slot planar phased array radar.
J-10C with a AKD-88 training missile
Though it may be thought “too strong to add” while Russian Kh-38 is still in the game
though it’s a J-10C, so it’s not relevant with J-10A.
A C-701 issue has passed but not sure how long it will be applied.
the “too strong” part is it’s man-in-loop ability, but it can also be used without this. What stopped it from adding is it’s not installed in J-10A

J-10B should be using PESA. J-10B was not widely adopted because J-10C with AESA was mature enough not long after.
In another words - the Snail always can pull another Brimstone case
What do we think, J11B next update? J10B is well out of the picture yet, except Su34 no other PESA will come for a while I think.

IIR variant has quite good range. Its range is around 40 km and the RF variant range is around 100km.
