why the pod only in side when carrying missiles
Well by the time they show something, it probably is already near service ready anyway, but the Zhuhai air show has given us a lot of info on these stuff.

Well, I am a big fan of the air show, last year they had an online platform for vehicles, so I hope they can do it again. I really want to go to the air show, but seems like the online thing was a bit chaotic and I would like to see all the live action as well.

I was really interested in the J10C with a vector thrust, it seems pretty cool and would be quite a fun addition.
I might be getting too far ahead into gen 4.5 but anyways.

There is only one J-10 with vector thrust. That is the modified J-10B that appeared in Zhuhai Airshow several years ago.
I just wanted J-10A instead of J-11A with SPO-15 and only one datalink channel
It’s just a copy and paste aircraft but much worse
I hope gaijin add J-10A or something simlar aircraft to cn

There is indeed some rumor implying that putting missiles on the inner pylons may require some extra work so they do not often bother doing so.
‘Sticking as many missiles as possible’ is rare for PLAF. They almost only do this on static display during airshows.
Military parades in China also only take place on decade anniversaries rather than every year (like in Russia or DPRK). It’s not like they are really so fond of showing power by frequently displaying equipments.

Like they can’t even be bothered to duplicate J11 for J11A but duplicated Su27SM instead since then they don’t have to properly rework the MAWS. You can see this from the glass being yellow on the J11A’s cockpit, J11 doesn’t have that.
