I can’t lie, as a new YouTuber you should know that the place of ‘just gameplay and memes’ are already filled to the top of people. But if you want to keep this path, I have a few recommendation, don’t throw a huge ‘subscribe and hit the bell’ pop-up, it’s annoying, if you really want to build a engaging community let the people choose you, don’t force them.
When recording matches cut the boring parts, even if it reduces your video, for example at second 0:16 to second 0:46 of pure take off, I don’t think it’s entertaining, but let’s say your only option was to have the boring static moments, change the music. 6 minutes or so of the same song also isn’t fun when your video is only gameplay with no commentary above it, change the music depending on the moment or not put any song at all, it depends on the mood and moment.
For example: If you want to do some kills compilation, syncing the moment of each kill with Symphony No. 5 (by Beethoven) is a great option, by the way, YouTube itself has a library with songs that have no Copyright claims when uploading a video, eventually when you start getting revenue from your work you’ll have to comply on using songs or any other assets that may not interfere with your gains.
If you’re doing a video for gameplay with plane that are fast and go from here to there in whatever seconds you can choose songs like Waltz of the Flowers (by Tchaikovsky), yet a calm song, it speeds up at the ending which is good for gameplays in planes.
Lastly for a more calm video Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 (by Liszt) is my personal favorite, I’ve recommended classical music because they tend to fit very well to only gameplay videos and depending on how you edit or the content you put in your videos like memes and sound effects could improve even more.
Those are suggestions, if you want to take them is up to you, I believe your main inspiration is Malzi, yes? For the way you edit your videos, I think, then look more, watch more and learn more, as I said, gameplay and memes format of video are filled to the top and are the easiest way to create content in War Thunder but the less profitable of them. Video about analysis of vehicles are one of the very few content people create, suggesting tactics on certain vehicles or maps are a very attractive content you can do.
Alright, thank you so much for advices. :D
