Because before they have been banned it’s not a certainty and in a lot of cases just causes witch hunts against players that might be innocent. The names are published by Gaijin when they have been judged and are banned. Before then it’s innocent until proven guilty.

reporting via the replay link does litrally nothing , that is the whole reason for this post

for me he worked i got teamkilled in these day for the event and the player have reiceved the penalty that bastard
in 1 years time , yes they will be banned , but will ruin 1000’s of games. Great proceedure
This post will not only do even more of nothing, the only thing it might do is get your account in trouble for breaking the rules.
Reports the current way are the ONLY way to go about things like this, the devs don’t sit around reading the forum for things like this.
They cannot use images or videos as evidence as they are way to easily manipulated. There has to be a correct report made, using the server replay function, for them to be able to do anything. A guide on how to create a correct report for each issue can be found here: (How to properly report players and contact Game Masters!). Please note that some issues cannot be reported using the in-game complaint system as the reports won’t contain the necessary logs to investigate.
They do not punish on the request of players and all reports are handled in a predetermined order.

Reports still help for new things the automatic systems might not have caught yet, reports then put eyes on those accounts so that they can be investigated.

I agree with you on that part, but when the cheating is excessive, its too much.
I sometimes wonder what happened to the 2 - 4 cheat devs I reported in 2024/2025.
I know for stuff like that investigations can take far longer due to investigating an entire development project rather than specific cheaters.
To whom? No one on the forum can do anything about things like this.

Please check monthly fair play posts to see what happens to them. Search results for '#official-news-and-information fair play in:title order:latest' - War Thunder — official forum
If you have them saved locally on your PC then sure, those can’t be used for reporting those players.

Those can’t be used in this way, you have to report it through the server replay report function. Sending them here does nothing.

at the end of the day , censoring the topic helps absolutly nothing but the cheaters. To say any kind of awareness on the topic is bad , is a wrong mindset.
Cheat bans are always permanent. At best the account can come back if the player had good security set up on it but still got hacked somehow and the hacker cheated on their account.
Hey, as said by Necronomica this is not the appropriate way to report cheaters. Use the in game report function instead of creating a thread about an individual.
