Chat Banned for terrible reason

I was chatbanned today for “hate speech”. The moderator left a comment saying “Any kind of Nazi or pro Nazi comments are strictly forbidden in game chat”.

Let me start off by saying I have NEVER left a pro-Nazi message in chat EVER. I also know exactly what battle my ban came from. It was a couple weeks ago when I called out some dude for saying racist things in chat and called him a Nazi after he ADMITTED to it HIMSELF. I literally asked him if he was a Nazi and he said “yes”, no joke. I know my ban is from this battle because at the exact same time I received it I also got a message telling me the actual Nazi who I originally reported got banned.

Look, if I got banned for cursing out the Nazi and breaking some kind of chat rule, fine. But the moderator flat out accused me of making pro-Nazi comments and hate speech when all I did was call out the other person doing that exact thing. I would genuinely appreciate someone looking into this for me because I feel like the moderator either did not actually read the chat logs or got confused. I’m literally the person who made the report yet got banned. I do not understand.

Again, any help would be massively appreciated.

Moderators abuse their powers sometimes or make mistakes, just wait the month out and you’ll be fine

I’ve found it much more peaceful not to interact with chat in the times I’ve been chat banned

This is about you even saying anything about it. You can’t say medical terms because of that other rule.

You also can’t talk about moderation, but it’s definitely not a mistake or an abuse.

This is all just word, u got chat log or screenshot to back what ur saying up? Can never trust anyone on the internet these day.

I use chat to communicate a lot in sim, so not having it is a major handicap and turns me off from playing. I’ve already messaged a game master to see if my ban can be lifted though, so we’ll see.

Nope! The battle my ban is from happened around 2 weeks ago. I can try and find them though.

Just looked for the replay (it was on sun city), could not find it. Must have been more than 2 weeks ago lol.

Just ask a mod to publically post what you got banned for. As they offered this to people here before, they may do it in your case. And then we all know.
