Me when severe damage is only caused by breaking the wing, or killing all the engines…
Also it doesn’t end the match if the last guy is severe.
Which isn’t being given even in case when control cables for vertical guidance are completely killed, yup.

Actually it is how it works. A fire is not a severe damage. The engines have to die or the wing has to break. Some planes award severe for breaking off both elevators as well. Twin boom aircraft are bugged and if the horizontal gets black, it will award severe too.
Let’s go, special gamemode solely for tanks.
Then aim for the engines captain obvious, you know, weak points, or just load ap and blast the crew out the fuselage
Could be nice, but I would want SPAAs to be banned in that mode
Now we’re back to the issue of wasting more ammo than I should have to in order to secure what would be a kill anyway.

Yeah aphe blowing up from the inside is better, OR alternatively, dont force yourself to go after bombers in a plane thats not suited for bombers… Kinda like you wouldnt force yourself to dogfight a zero in a p51

So the situation where, e.g. plane was made 6.7 due to it’s sheer firepower literally disassembling planes in the air should use 500-900 ammo depending on the belt and luck from its 6 20 mm cannons to just deal with one drunk and asleep guy in his B-17 flying in a straight line… what a gameplay.

Oh were specifically talking about the 50mm 262 now? Ok post a clip of a bombers wing tanking its aphe rounds, either you fire HE which messes up the skin but not the spars, or HVAP which messes up spars but not skin, fire a round that does both, since either is strong enough alone to hold the wing. Two birds with one stone, because i got stealth belt mk108s blowing off wings in 5-10 shots
