More MiG-29s would be nice. Like the 29K,29M and MiG-35.
russia doesnt really make true MULTIROLE aircraft much, so its tough to find something in the 12.7 -13.0 area that will fit that wont be blatantly too strong. but hey we will see
The audacity from some people to talk about a plane they don’t have or nations they haven’t play a single match.
Muh Su-30sm its fine.
Muh Russian don’t need another plane.
Muh R-77-1 its second best missile.
Muh you don’t need to evade on Su-30sm
Muh second best radar.
Only 1 match on a reserve aircraft…
Delusional as f…
To answer OP question. The close i see Ru TT getting something its at the end of the year. It would be a miracle if gaijin has the balls to do something dif. So far how they have handle the Ru TT its a joke in late years.
MiG-29K may be a good option, being somewhat similar to the MiG-29 Sniper in air and ground capabilities, if it appeared in the LiveServer with R-77 and R-73 air-to-air missiles, the MiG-29K as a Premium could follow the same path.
In my opinion, Su-30s series is widely known for the dedication put into liveries and schemes as well, one of my favorites in-game:
Yet not historical, I’m happy that is labeled as semi-historical in the game market, but regarding Su-30SM itself, the naval black scheme is also a very cool asset.
You trading 12 missiles for 6 R-77-1 and slightly better flight performance?
We can always get more powerful engine for Su30SM instead of new plane.
That way it can keep up with next and current jets.
Even then though the Flanker is a big heavy aircraft.
Gripen NG frist, as unique variants before add Gripen E
It is but new engines will certainly help a lot until Su-30SM2/ 35/57 comes.
AL-41F -in game now!!!
In testing on the dev the R-77-1 and the 120 launched at the same speed and the same altitude arrive at the exact same time. With a target not defending, problem is map size. A Su-30SM and Su-35S accelerate faster and have a faster top speed but they will never match a Typhoon/Rafale etc
That’s why I suggested better engines for 30Sm.
Why wouldn’t they match typhoon and rafale? Radar, engines, R-37M. Typhoon has super-cruise an advantage there.
I think he’s saying that even with those engines it wouldn’t match the Typhoon/Strike Eagle/Rafale in terms of kinematics, issue is, as long as the flanker FM is poorly modelled, that will always be the case.
Ohh yes of course, that’s true, well I think we will continue to play the way we are playing realistic air battles. I think there clear winners are the Rafael, and now the new AIM-120 missile carriers. SU-30 can hold its own but that is a long shot in air realistic.
To be fair with you after testing the new Aim-120C’s I haven’t seen much of a difference compared to the 120A/B, the Su-30 gameplay will still bring me more enjoyment :)
(ofc we’re talking about the Dev server Aim-120C, which might still change before release)
Because R-37M isnt in the game…
And if you get the R-37M then the Typhoon will have Meteor.
Well that is how it goes, I wonder how does Meteor perform has it been used in irl?
