At first SK-105 was added to Germany, but due to outrages that it should go to France that was changed.
France was to get SK-105 and Germany got an Argentinian variant.
I think this is what he is trying to refer to.

Absolutely.
Germany had next to no reason to receive SK-105 whereas the argument could be made for the CR3.
Funny to see people complain at “too many other nations getting Leopard 2s” only to ask for CR3 in the German tree.

I also don’t see the point in purchasing a Taiwanese Abrams for China, they have a lot of options, right? The same goes for more controversial options, such as the recent T-90, but I think the conversation is over on this topic

No, the final turret design we have not seen yet.

Nope, the turret we have now is a modification of the normal cr2 turret. It will be either something simmilar to BN if turret stays close to the cr2 designs, or sensors and APS itself will get their own “sockets”

Is this a proposal for CR3 or CR2 CLIP. The RBSL CLIP/CLEP we have seen which is the one displayed in many of the pictures in this thread. the CR3 has not been finalised. The confusion is honestly just because the MOD want us to believe its a new tank, and not a mid-life upgrade of a previous one. Realistically the name should’ve been CR2(I) Improved or something.

Its a slippery slope that could lead to arguments that nations should get something because a museum has it, best to keep vehicles in their operator nations rather than making it messy
