Challenger 3

How is Germany as a state involved in challenger 3?

I’m not talking about the state, but about the company, and their headquarters are located in Germany. Within the framework of the game, the state does not decide anything, the projects of companies located on the territory of this state are decided or connections (Needs) with the army

Exactly, RBSL is based in the UK and has it’s headquarters there.

Yes, that’s right, but modernization is not only for the British army, right? They produce and modify, for example, the Boxer infantry fighting vehicle for Germany, the same with the Challenger 3, only not only the English company is involved, but also the German one. Accordingly it should be in both branches of pumping

Pretty sure RBSL only handles the British boxers, so no

“RBSL will be one of the primary manufacturers in the UK producing half of the vehicles.“

They mean that 800 boxers have been made by all companies. Not form RBSL, it’s advertising the success of boxer.

It’s all written here: “Artec, (a joint venture between one of RBSL’s parent companies, Rheinmetall, and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann) is responsible for the Boxer development programme for Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and the UK. In November 2019, Artec signed a £2.3bn contract with the UK MOD to deliver over 500 Boxer vehicles to the British Army”

Yes…. ARTEC……

Yeah, she’s included in RBSL

For service vehicles, the military dictates the tech tree it goes to, not where the company is located.
There are zero examples of a serviced tank going to a country that didn’t field it IRL.

Not sure why you want AJAX to be in the US tech tree tho…

No…. Read…. ARTEC is a joint venture between Rheinmetall and KMW, RBSL has just been given some of the manufacturing rights for the UK’s boxer programme.

“RBSL will be one of the primary manufacturers in the UK producing half of the vehicles. RBSL will undertake the fabrication of the armoured vehicle structures together with the assembly, integration, and test of the complete vehicles at its Telford facility in the West Midlands.” - that is, 250 cars will be produced in UK, the rest at other enterprises. What is wrong?

Yes, RBSL is only producing some of the UK fleet, and none of anybody else’s.

It literally says that the Artec company is part of RBSL, and it is also engaged in the production of equipment in England, in limited quantities. Also serves other countries from UK

Lets look at this this way: France is known for AMX-30 tanks, now IIRC AMX30Super isnt french modification, yet its in French TT, why? Because AMX-30 is originally a french design. Same for OF-40 in Italian TT. Its not factories or companies we divide tanks to nation by, its countries who had them or made them, with both being considered time to time. Sure KF-41 isnt in Germany TT, yet was it bought by German army, prototypes of it and variants of it might be in germany TT in future, we just have to see. Challenger is British design, Britain is gonna be one buying it, so why should it be in German TT, after all Germany isnt lacking on options, while Britain kinda does.

Same with USSR, my opinion is all post soviet designs formed on soviet designs and vehicles that were designed and made by post soviet factories and used by those post soviet countries should end up in USSR TT.

Same with Britain, Vickers tanks are in British TT, so should be Challenger 3, sure its being designed by different company, yet original design is British, and we know Challenger as GB MBT, not Germany one.

There are too many contradictions in your theory, the same Vickers Mk.11 should be added only when the development branch of Australia appears, since it was made specifically for it, and not for the English army. The same thing with the Mi-28A, T-80U, T-90 and so on. It just doesn’t work, but it’s an interesting opinion

Sure, yet if it appears is unkown, and i believe copy paste shouldnt be a thing used too often, introducing a nation that mostly has copy paste is horrible option, sad to see it often.

No, it says Rheinmetall(a parent company of RBSL) is a part of ARTEC, READ.

Think of it this way… germany ingame doesnt need the ch3 it has more then enough leopard 2a7s to fill the role so it doesnt need the ch3 to be added
