of course. i think im just gunna find some other game to play for the time being. I think i heard of one with all modern stuff or something like that. i like the modern stuff more. problem is no other game is anywhere close to having the mechanics and systems WT does.
There isn’t any game like this. Gaijin knows that and they know we know that. Nothing with modern MBTs where u can kill other Modern MBTs to research modifications and vehicles.

The prototype hadn’t been made yet by the time the TD was added in-game.
So why did they add it in the first place? (we’d have all been far happier with the CR2s getting a massive buff)
Or why hasnt the TD been converted into the P when it became apparent it didnt have half the features it was planned to get?
and that still doesnt explain why it hasnt gotten a number of buffs like a 5 second reload like the Arietes got or an appropriate BR for its performance in game.

It was added because people were asking for it.
The TD was the Challenger 2 just modified to what the chally 3 could look like. The chally 3 prototype is like the first actual produced tank, its the prototype idk how else to explain it.
No, everyoen was asking for the Challenger 2 to be added. Not the facade we have in game currently or for the actual CR3.
heck the Yak-141 got features it never had, so not that hard to add a tank based upon what was planned (which is what we got intiially) then they nerfed it again and again and again, and then when the P came out, the TD should have been converted to maintain the performance instead they nerfed it. But alas, this Britain we are talking about. Its litereally against the ToS for us to have anything good

That’s just Gaijin giving it the wrong name though, it should be called Challenger 2 LEP.
As for why it doesn’t have features that it theoretically have… Gaijin doesn’t seem to do that for ground vehicles, just air vehicles.
Then what about the Challenger 2, we dont have that in game yet either

Not saying the challenger shouldn’t get worked on, but even the Type 10’s reload rate is not as good as it could be. It also has a multitude of issues that GJ won’t look at , and I expect the Abrams to have problems too. No need to single them out and imply that solely the Challenger is getting boned. We’re all in for Gaijin’s ride, bumpy as it may be.

Perhaps, but no other top tier tank has a ready rack 1/5th its IRL size for “balancing reasons” and I dont think any others have literal voids in the armour like the CR2 does.
CR2 for years had the second fast reload rate in game as a balancing measure and since then 5 seconds has become the average and the tanks it faces have only gotten stronger and the CR2 has actually gotten weaker.
I know other tanks have issues, but the CR2s are definetly some of the worst and easily some the most neglected.

Obviously I’ll get flak since this is a Chally topic, but you severely underestimate how bad the other tanks are as well. I hope you eventually see that it isn’t only the Challenger in such a poor state.

Germany and Sweden have very strong tanks at the moment that dont need any fixes.
France and Italy both also have leopards through third parties.
Ariete got some pretty major buffs recently and is a fairly solid glass canon
Leclerc is fine
Type 10 is fine, again small fast glass canon
Abrams is very strong at the moment.
Only nations that are slightly weak is the Merkava with Israel and the Chinese MBTs.
The people likely to get buffs though is US, Soviets and Germany and hte nations least likely to get buffs is Britain, Israel and China.
But both China and Isarel from what I understand have poorly modeled things, but they dont have intentional nerfs like the Ready rack limits. (Remember CR2 should be 20 to 28 rounds not 4)
