The most obvious point:
The steering speed is 30°
High and low machine speed is 10°
Is this really an upgraded tank?
The demonstrator appears to have the same GCE as Challenger 2, the actual prototypes and CR3 will receive TDSS which should improve turret drive performance
I estimate the red part is an armored box (hollow inside?), but at least it can provide 30+extra protection
I will be honest, i do not see it, literally. I will be on pc soon, then i will look around.
I mean, from what i see at least the side blocks and that bottom thing are there
As for how they are modelled, well
The model is from the base Cr2, so not modelled at all.
will gaijin change it?
I mean, it looks fine to me? Im not sure what is the problem here.
No one knows, you can try reporting it
AH, you mean the 30. Well good luck changing their mind it is not, We tried. Something might change with the Cr2 blog, but at the current scenario, both Cr2 and Cr3 have 30mm there and they deem it correct
if this armor is hollow, May increase protection by at least 30MM
However,if this is solid, it will add at least 200MM of protection???
I mean, the trunnion itself is missing 150-200mm(Also its positon in cr3 kills me). If it is not deeme hollow, it would be around 100 by me.
I hope the “CR3P” in the game is the one showed in 2019
It probably will, but first it needs to be shown to the public
In fact, the photos we see of Challenger 3 now are all Challenger 2LEP.
about The First CR3 Turret Structure
“Last month, in August 2023, the first CR3 citadel for Prototype 1 (P1) arrived in Telford. This is the steel structure that forms the basis of the first CR3 turret”
Yes that is correct, The tank was suposed to be ready and take test by the end of last year, how it went? Well, APS tests were made, it works.
I hope RBSL can display photos of real CR3 (the one with new turret)
