I had a quick look through my saved CR3 photos and I don’t see that reg anywhere, decent chance that was it’s first appearance
Is this possible it’s the final prototype of challenger 3 ??
That’s not unlikely, I think most are quite far along as its entering service next year

theres also this which shows all 3 of them and the challenger 2s vertiical traverse looked quite quick which leads me to believe its wrong in game

I believe it is likely the CR3, the seventh car.
(That is, assuming the vehicle in this image is the sixth car. Has anyone been able to identify this?)

It certainly looks. But in my (very personal) opinion the challenger 2 looked outdated when it was put in service. The challenger 3 looking like a slightly uparmored challenger 2 from the outside doesn’t make me say that it looks good.
I much prefer the look of the K2 or even a leopard 2A6 (the 2A8 just looks silly however with its turret bigger than the chassis, and let’s not mention the Italian KF51 lol)

i guess the TD not having blowout panels isn’t an issue because it looks like they don’t actually do anything when they are in place

Apparently this is the Challenger 3 info sheet from an armed forces day event (thanks Flame), not tankfest.
It seems to infer the CV-12-9A makes 1200hp (1314) but has the potential for 1350 or 1500hp growth, but it also refers to the CV-12-8A in the same section, so it’s a bit strange considering the CR3 doesn’t even use the 8A.
It also shows the naming of the EPSOM and FARNHAM armour, with the FARNHAM armour apparently being the side addons (Dorchester Level 2) rather than internal armour?
