Im glad they listed to my report, it works really well
The lock range is up to 10km, which is quite insane
The HE-TF works reliably to shoot down helis and planes, sometimes it won’t outright kill them but usually it either one hits them or does enough damage to cripple them

The FV4005 is still the best AA in the game though, wish it had a radar though

Does the range autoupdate with the IRST
yes, the laser range finder constantly updates the fuse to the exact distance
Shooting down helis and planes is quite easy with the lead indicator to provide perfect lead
It makes the HE-TF shell extremely effective against helicopters and you can even shoot down low flying planes
So far I believe only the following countries get MBTs with IR tracking and HE-VT/HE-TF shells
- Britain
- Russia
- Israel
- China
chinas in the best state atm as they have an actual proxy round
true, but Chinese tanks have a very long reload of around 7 seconds which holds them back a bit
The 3TD has a 6 second reload and the Merkava has a 5 second reload with shells that in practice give you similar results
vt-4 has 6.5 no?
I believe it was going to be buffed but on dev its still 7.1
chally 3TD has LWS in battles in dev server… not in modifications though.

That shouldn’t be the case, the LWS on the real Challenger 3 comes in the form of its “ears” on the side of the turret that the CR3TD lacks
probably just a bug

the TD is a TD so everything on it is a mock up

Been using DM11 to fairly good success vs just about everything really. Explode drones, explode helicopters, explode unfortunate straight flying jets…
