Where is this information from?
Sounds like the shell has already been developed and is now just being approved and qualified on the Challenger 3. This lines up with the timeline of KE2020 Neo.
well numerous stuff EDR magazine during the interview never stated KE2020NEO to be a joint project unlike EKE so i have my doubts on it
its the same round

oh well then time to wait for first prototype leopard next year
I’m wondering if theres a possiblity the Challenger 3 has improved turret rotation / gun elevation speed over the Challenger 2.
I suspect it will and at top tier reaction times are of course extremely important.
I’m gonna take a look for any indication that it might, if anyone has any existing info they know pls send it :)
theres nothing concrete on it, and irl we know the CR2 has the same turret rotation speed as tanks like Leopard 2, M1 Abrams, Leclerc, ect its just gaijin refuses to acknowledge it.
Do we really know that though?
i thought we concluded that Gaijin was correct with their current turret rotation speed
to my understanding i thought it was “correct” but also incorrect as ive seen sources state it can do the 40/s, but its restricted in peacetime for maintinence.
i may be entirely wrong there but thats my understanding of it.
Yes it uses Curtis wright TDSS, same system as on Ajax.
Would this give it confirmed better turret traverse?
Confirmed, I guess not, but assumed yes.
Well thats good to know, thanks for the info.
I’ve seen some videos of the Ajax’s turret traverse and it seems very fast.
I like the part where it says in germany :P
Source?
Because numerous sources as well as video evidence shows it doesn’t.
My mistake, i thought it was 40/s tbh.
4:23
Video is not sped up for sure, and if you take away speeding up and braking time you get 9s.
And no, it is not proof at all.
guys lets go, make bug reports of it!
Then again, we’re running the CV-126a at 1200hp (reduced in peacetime for maintenance) when it can be uprated to 1500 (the challenger 3 literally does this)
