It would also be interesting if they properly modeled the earth moved by the dozer blade, because when you use it, it moves the earth in front of you and creates a depression as you advance, instead of moving forward kicking up earth, reversing, and then moving forward again kicking up more earth, but leaving the ground smooth where you pass. It would also be good if tanks with large blades could create cover simply by advancing, thus putting more and more earth in front of them.

Though whilst we have won this battle, the war is far from over. The road ahead is still going to be long and there are many issues yet to go.

Biggest remaining offenders are all of the missing spall liners and ready rack issues- both in terms of size and replenishment speed.

With the recent realisation and subsequent report that the OES and TES dont even have the shells used as the ready rack in-game. It shows just how silly the ready rack situation truly is

I won’t be an armchair dev and say it’s easy but it would go a long way to improve the vehicle for something that is already semi-complete in game with the CUP variant.

I’m not UK main but I’m glad to see the engine buff, I quite like the basic Challenger 2 and Challenger 1, lower front plate spall liner and ready rack are the next big ones since mantlet fixes won’t ever appear on any top tier tank

Some tanks have got mantlet buffs on dev such as the Leo 2K, Type 10 and ZTZ series

However, their mantlets are for the most part, still not that great

I hope it’s just WIP shenanigans;

In Type 10’s case, the trunnion went from being 20mm to 200mm; however, the right side of the mantlet still somehow peovides, uh… 189mm KE?

Left side went fron 200mm KE to 400mm KE, though! Which doesn’t change much against main caliber shells, but seems much more accurate and sensible, and helps against the likes of RDF, HSTVL, 2S38, etc. also big improvement against CE.

for it to get any meaningful protecting they need to model the external part as solid rather than just completely hollow.

It makes little sense for it to be hollow, I have no idea why it is ingame. The same is true for the mantlet of the Challenger 3TD.

I know this is a nitpick and probably just important to me, but the new animations added to physically moving parts, like the netting on T-90 turret and the balls and chain on the Namer rear end, should also be added to the Challenger 2 slat armor hanging on the back of it.
