The dozer blade for the challenger 2 is still in the files and is on (but hidden) on the CUP varient
I took this photo this year where i managed to put the CUP varient in the hanger where it was in its reference state

Yeah, that is what makes it so annoying.
Its not even like its something that has to be modeled. It just needs to be enabled. Iirc, the model still has all the necessary mounting points on the live model

Ill sort out another hanger with the dozer challenger and get a better picture of it for you to use as a reference

Any of these issues being resolved would be a sign of progress. When was the tank last touched? I think during the abortive “overhaul” that barely warranted the name.

I wish you luck in trying to get a vehicle fixed in the current Gaijin climate man, but holy shit this is way more effort than they deserve. They aren’t going to fix it. They don’t care. This game is neither historical nor balanced, and Gaijin is happy with that.

I asked smin about this awhile ago and he basically stated that all the changes were implemented when in reality they didn’t

I think this counts in this thread as the CR3TD is actually a Challenger 2 LEP, but gaiijin have accepted my report to give the Challenger 3TD target tracking (air targets only)
As it has a timed fuse shell, this could be really useful against helis and low flying aircraft, it at least gives it a niche compared to the other Challengers

This isn’t a massive change needed, obviously the vehicle’s performance needs improving, but could we please change the default camo for the OES? It really bothers me that it’s this weird green color that looks like it was intended for an American tank. None of the other Challenger 2s have this standard camo either. Take a look at the original Challenger 2 OES before the camo netting was standardized to fit the camo the vehicle has on.
To me, this looks much better than the current one, especially if you put the condition at 100%. This green + green camo net just doesn’t look right on a Challenger 2. Again, not a massive issue, but I’d like if it could be changed to the one used on the TES and other variants.

Okay so I managed to put the CUP varient of the CR2 with the dozer in to a hanger once again to get better pictures. I can also use freecam to explore this model if needed
(The pictures are dark as thats the only way to get around war thunder HDR mess)

Picture shows that they have done some effort to make it compatable with the addon dorchestor armor
There is also a plate behind the dozer that is not present on the base model CR2 which they have also made, this goes right the way down to near the base of the tank

That’s so weird, I didnt notice any issues on the dev server with it when it was present, i cant think of why they’d remove it
