Challenger 2 needs to be brought to developers attention

I’m confused, so the fire rate of the gun is actually 90 rpm? But when you factor in reloading over the course of a minute you’ll only get 80 rounds off… But the first 6 rounds would be 90rpm no?

Surely it’s just a cv9040 with a smaller magazine.

Ok. The gun has a fire rate of the 90 rpm, but reload of clips slows this to 80 rpm. I will have to check data what the reload is, but if it is wrong we might be able to reduce inside clip reload time.se

What I’m saying is in game is it firing at 80rpm (with the reload) making it even slower?.. where as it should be firing at 90rpm (without reload) and ending up with 80 rpm after the reloads are factored in after a minute.

I will be on my PC shortly, there i will check datamine what the reload is

Here it is
Reload time is 1s so what we have now as an ace
i guess what we have to loock at is shotfreq
I guess it is 1.3334 shots per second so 0.75 per shot. That would be simmilar to what i experienced
Round up to x.xxxx as game does

Round up to 0.75, as 0,74996 goes to it

round up to 12 full cardridges

76 RPM
With exact value

Ok it gives us 80 But that is still not 90
one cardrige

card + reload

cardridge + repoad / min

With exact values

So
72+4 equals 76 RPM

Not exact

So with that it will be
image
78 rpm ignoring reload
90 would have to be like this
image
Fire rate of one cardrige
image
Cardrige + reload

How much of card + rel can be done in a minute

Fire rate

So if my calculation are right, we have a fire rate of 72 rounds per minute?
Anyone can approve/correct me?
we have a total of 12 cardriges + 2 free rounds

SO it gives us 74 rpm

So, they need to increase the burst fire-rate and increase the reload time…

What’s that then like 70?

Im calculating it rn

So the gun should be firing at 90rpm in a 6 round burst, but 80rpm over the course of a minute after factoring in the top reload rate?

yes

And currently it’s not even close?

If my calculation are right, we have 74 rpm

So they’ve based the 80rpm sustained fire rate with reloading… Then added another reload penalty to that ontop? Where as it should be firing at 90rpm for the first 6 rounds and continue to do so. However once you factor on the reloads over the course of a minute you’ll only get 80 rounds off

The 6 rounds have a fixed reload rate, of 0.77s, and even that give us 78rpm. THAT IS WRONG

So we was right to bug report it… Woooo lol remember (Not a bug)

Still can anyone do these calculations by themselfs so it can be sure?
here is the gun data

So essentially the bug report needs to have the fixed 6 round fire rate to = 90rpm for the 6 round clip, but the sustained fire rate is 80rpm after ace crew reloading is factored in. If the calculations are correct i think it’s still worth doing a 2nd bug report with the more in depth information.

Ending rpm with exact values gave me 76 RPM with reload, and 80 without it

So regardless it’s wrong, the 80rpm is supposed to be the sustained fire rate which is why the bug report was cancelled, whereas it should be firing at 90rpm but 80rpm sustained over a minute.
