Time to find out if the ROMOR has the same issue as the LFP NERA
Now that everyone is on ROMOR topic, can anyone help me find some info on the trials on the pictures here
If we get the info on them we buff ROMOR-A to 500ce
I’m confused as I’ve seen this before but they said we needed to know what the 127mm charge is from. However on the documents itself it states that the charge penetrated 600mm of rha without the era on and only 40 with (all at 20 degree angle). Does this alone not show that the era is under performing? Why couldn’t we use this.
No source and the charge seems to be a I-TOW
Unless i find the info about the trial it cant be used
Did the Chally 2 get another DM update today?
Gaijin made some little progress on this
yesterday
today
T-80B had observation thermal imaging equipped.
SEP2 didn’t have DU put into its hull, it received some unknown other improvements to hull armor.
And this is ultimately about Challenger 2s, which are getting dm improvements this major update.
@John_Sneeeeeeeew
Some Soviet tanks use HHA which spalled more than RHA for a long time, now they’re about the same.
Well that’s retarded considering they have literally pictures and information to go with it……
How are you meant to find information on this trial when this document is the information
Yes, SEP3 did, which is one of the reasons SEP3 increased 2+ tons in mass over M1A1 HC & M1A2 Std - SEP2.
Its a Cr2 thread guys :)
So testing to see if the ROMOR-A has the same issue as the LFP NERA does.
Baseline: Side armour at 60 degrees, as per the protection levels spreadsheet
Spoiler
KE matches the 95mm listed on the spreadsheet
CE is overperforming compared to the 640mm on the sheet (and underperforming compared to the 845 on the DL2F)
Comparison: ROMOR-A from direct front (~49 degree constructional angle)
KE is close to the 95mm but only in this specific spot, the rest ranges from 102-130mm
CE is nowhere near any value listed, very thin slivers of ~600mm but its usually 340-365mm
It doesn’t seem to copy the values for the side protection (which is the case for the LFP NERA sadly) but the actual intended values don’t seem to be listed anywhere…
TL:DR please :), helldivers takes up my attention lol
TL;DR gaijin don’t have intended protection for the LFP with add-on listed and I have no idea where they’re getting their numbers from
How many t80bs received thermals? I thought all of those were fitted with bvm packages at the same time
A whole 1 T-80B trialed thermals once
CR2 gen 3 thermal when
Well, when we report the TISP?
Denied in record time, i cant even get someone to look at my bug reports XD
It seems that the developers are aware of the authenticity of this document, as it has already been reported in the old Russian forum and a developer (BVV_d) responded (I translated to english):
We have data on tests of ROMOR in 1988, and indeed, at sharp angles, ROMOR could provide a greater equivalent of protection than it is now in the game. This will be adjusted after the holidays.
