So why realistically does the leopard 2A4 not get even at least the DM33, and the abrams the, m883 or whatever it is to put their rounds on par with that of,
CR1, T80B, ZTZ 96A, and most the other 10.7 tanks, hell 3BM42 is found at even 9.7
I I get the leopard 2a4 is a strong tank but it really shouldn’t be arbitrarily nerfed just for balance, make it what it should be and balance around it.
dunno, even then there is so many leopard variants, even different leopard 2a4 batch versions, you could easily add higher br ones with better ammo etc.
Gajins just against it. i find it highly unfair that US and russia get new high rank air addition every patch.

They are fine at their current BRs but would benefit nonetheless from 11.3-12.0 being fully decompressed, meaning the worst you’d face in a full uptiers are the weaker of the current 11.7s, rather than the full mix of good and bad 11.7s at the moment, including a few 11.7s that probably should be 12.0 if it wasn’t for things at 12.0 being too low. Likewise the mk2 would benefit from a few 11.0s and 11.3s being a little higher.
But yes ultimately the CR2s are the ones that are desperate for a decompress
and that only iirc, because of barrel wear.

Do we have any data/images on the presence of hull side spall liners for the Challenger 2?
We know it has UFP/LFP spall liners (LFP STILL NOT MODELLED???), but what about the sides?
It seems strange to do the full turret and hull front and then leave the sides completely vacant of spall liners.
L55 In combination with the Cr.2 gun shield, it gives a monstrous explosiveness for the hull-down gamplay.
Yeah they are stuck in a rough AF spot though cause they are quite good if they go down in BR and then almost immediately would rise up again
It is a pity that the BN project did not last a little longer, because a new shell for a rifled cannon was in development. And, as can be seen from the interview, it was supposed to be integrated with the HAIP program in terms of the option to boost the engine to 1500 h/P.

The 1500HP engine does make sense given the 2E. It makes sense to include that in the planned domestic versions. Just a shame it was scrapped (for now) for the CR3

I think that regardless of whether Bae or Rhm won, both would have received the same HAAIP upgrades, so even if BN had ran for longer we’d have had the same speculation and discussion around engine power as we’ve had for the CR3 and its TD?
The CR3 is going to have the 1500hp without doubt. If you go looking for a specific thing that says yes it will or no it won’t, you likely won’t find anything but the CR3 upgrade is just taking the hull from the recently upgraded CR2s and giving them a new turret and slight hull change. The BN (or Black Knight idk) would probably been the same type of upgrade
Yes, the HAAIP is a separate program from LEP/3, if BN were to continue it would have receive the HAAIP, and no 3 will exist without HAAIP. When it comes to HAAIP output, all I’ll say is we wait for official data.
On another note iirc BN is still complete, so it might get the 9a along the rest of Cr2, but it knight be reverted to a standard Cr2 in the process.

I made a bug report for the Chally 2 side hull spall liners.
The evidence is quite limited, but solid. The photos have already been used to report the LFP spall liner but I didnt see a dedicated one for the side spall liners which are also visible in the photos.
These only show the side next to the drivers position, but I couldn’t find any other photos.
Even if gaijin just models those spall liners instead of the full side spall liners it would be an improvement.
If someone has already reported this then my bad, but theres no harm done in having a second report.
On a seperate report (not my one above!), the bug reporting manager says there are internal CR2 spall liner reports.
Hopefully that means the tank will be getting some additional liners eventually.
