so what is happening with the challanger 2s then? are they just leaving htem half done and calling it a day? they used to have the advantage of the faster first stage reload, now the merkava and arriete have a 5 second reload well the challanger 2 is up for now the worst MBT in game IMO

im not familiar with L15A5, is that an improved APDS shell?

I’d still say the Ariete is worse, but the Chally 2’s have now lost basically their only advantage over most tanks

It could be quite easily fixed by either expanding the ready rack or simply making it refill much faster, but they can’t be bothered to do that

They have been holding on for a long time, but now they are power crept into insignificance.
So far the only reason to struggle in the CR2 is…because they look cool. Every other tank they face does something better than the CR2 and the holy grail CR3 TD is also a mess.

No point grinding Britain to the top tiers

L15A5 APDS-T is a tungsten cored APDS as far as im aware it was a better penetrator than the A3 as A3 was cobalt aka older style and the tungsten is an alloy so has more penetration all that jazz

the CR3 TD isnt even the real CR3, and its not teh tech demonstrator either xd its a mix n mash of the real 3 and the TD. ive got teh chally 2s all teh way to the E and stopped as the 3 is just pointless to get for me.

id rather keep using my chieftains than teh damn chally 2s. the challanger 1s are fun though

nah cause both have no armour and the arriete can at least shift faster.

mobility - arriete wins

ammunition- arriete wins bar the challanger 3TD

armour - technically challanger but both are useless.

profile- arriete is smaller lower profile than the challanger 2 which is huge.

noise, the challanger 2 is one of the loudest MBTs in game after they swapped a lot of engine noises a few patches ago.

so yah im gonna actually get the arrietes over the challanger 3.

Chally 1 can hang, its no Leopard 2A4 but they can do work

i prefer it to the leo2 man its not as mobile but that round n reload are more than enough to compensate, the armour while not perfect does far more at 10.3 than the challanger 2s does at 11.3
and it doesnt hurt having two of them with L23A1 :p

EDIT in my honest opinion. the leo 2a4 should be 10.7, well 11.0 now, at 10.3 it is the single best MBT at its BR, the combination of everything it has is just pure phenomenal, the Leo2a4 is the only tank in the game to earn me a nuke and that is seriously saying something.

Check out eh chieftains, specifally the mk 10. Its a nuke printing machine alongside my of 40(mtca). Both are being moved up to 9.3 sadly, the of 40 im fine with as its getting dm33, but the chieftains needs the mk11 module or to stay at 9.0…

VFM5 is in a sorry state, as thiers just no point in using it when the rooikat mttd exists, now with dm 33.

Which is dumb, presumably people are constantly derping rounds into the turret because they see other chieftains, pen their turrets, and go “haha i shoot anywhere” and then it doesn’t work

i mean i was using the VFM in my 9.3 lineup, fucking rattled a quarter of the enemy team off earlier with it. i like the rooikat but i think for me id need to buy the 105 prem, the MTTD i just cant get into the right position with.

the mk10 chieftain im currently paired up with the khalid to try bring the mk10 KD back up to a respectable place, and i love it man. had some extremely close nukes with the 9.3 lineup but alas ticket bleed ruined it.

i genuinely believe the mk10 should be left at 9.0, with the mk11 being introduced as a folder with it and the totem pole upgrades. the mk11 would be a breath of fresh air, being it has the L23A1, thermals, and im sure slightly better suspension ? could be wrong.

but yeah for the common play now the rooikat is far better than tbe VFM due to the round: ( personally ill stick with the VFM but its out classed

nah positioning is massive with the Mk10 it can make or break a match. BUT i did have an APHE from a fking T55AM go through my turret face between the gun and the stillbrew and nuke teh crew… somehow

I love the Mk10 but its so slow and everything is so much faster and can usually pen the turret.
If you get a game at its br it does well though

to be fair 48 KMPH on most terrain aint too shabby, the M60s at 9.3 are still slower over all.

but things at 9.7 like the leo2k are rocket ships in comparisson

you see, the mod now has the tech to make tanks invisible but they still chose to install the visible smoke launchers lol
