I guess that is what Gaijin wants. So when the actual CR3 arrives and its little better, no one is surprised and htey can just go on pretending that Britain is DOA IRL and therefore DOA in-game
Challenger 3 has blow out panels but yes, The UK likes to use its tanks in hull down, in a tree lime 3 mikes away which is why the challenger 2 had its explosive charges in the hull. If the turret is penetrated, there is no explosion. Unlike challenger 3 which also has a big gaping breach.
We can hope. But we’ve heard that before
I will give them credit that when this happened with the engine power report, they did actually fix it quite quickly
The ready rack fix would be a huge buff for the Challengers
the government used it for the CR3 announcement article and it was present at the initial CR3 press conference also
Its in the thread unless he nuked it all
The government occasionally refered to the 2 LEP as the Challenger 3 for marketing purposes, but at actual defence shows what we have ingame was either never or extremely rarely called a Challenger 3 TD
If you look at the MOD’s defence imagery site
The vehicle which is actually refered to as the Challenger 3 Advanced Technology Demonstrator is one of the very early prototypes, not the 2 LEP
The obvious choice is just to call the Challenger “3TD” the Challenger 2 LEP to differentiate it, otherwise we are going to potentially get two vehicles with the same name
or they could call the prototypes “prototypes,” or even “pre-production,” and then everything will be fine.
unless you wanna go exclusively by file names, in which case they could also call it “DVD 2024” without issue
We need 3 things:
Challenger 2 first stage ammo storage to be from the back wall,
Challenger 2 reload speed to be down to 4 or 4.5secs
L27A1 to be buffed
That would certainly restore our firepower to acceptable levels
either that or bring other people’s reloads back up
And/or to model blowout doors being open, nuking any protection from their higher rates of fire acheived where they would be open almost constantly
Since C2 loaders lap load or pre-load… should that be modelled or made a feature?
i don’t think we lap load anymore, after one of our CR2s nuked itself in training
Dropped it onto a powder charge or something
or am i forgetting the actual cause of that incident
Thats because a part wasnt fitted when firing. The round blew up in the chamber detonating.
DVD 2024 is just the defence expo it was shown at, not really sure they can do that
it would make more sense to just name it after its registration number
Challenger 3 Prototype 62KK19
