It’s on purpose. If they admit the forumla is flawed, the game code needs a complete rewrite.

Does the game engine use that formula in game every time someone is shot to go “hmmm, this should pen” or no?

Also idk if you guys remember, but the TES was already pulled once on us.
It had 1200ce protection, but someone tried to change something with ke, so they decided to put default era values at it.
Now Legwolf tired to change it again, so they pulled keeping the ERA on the default, and switching backplate to aluminium, not even aluminum alloy, just aluminium!

It’s nice to see recognition for us who put in stupid amounts of time getting the extremely hard to find sources and evidence, but feels like such a tremendous letdown when they straight up misquote our efforts.

If nothing else, if they follow my ammunition report, CR2 becomes far more survivable.
I suspect it’ll eventually be actually usable after the updates, and I’m actually pretty hopeful. The only letdown is the ERA bit. Otherwise we should be cautiously happy.

Laziness. People heavily circulate that the manufacturer is Rafael. So…when you go looking for ERA by Rafael, Armor Shield R is your first find that looks right.
Its a complete lack of research and laziness that spawned this myth.

i’ll be happy when they finally after 2 more like 3 months figure out why the APFSDS on Chally 1 has a habit of detonating and put a stop to it
and you know… actually read the bug reports about protection and L27A1 performance instead of asking “more documents lolololol”
