Challenger 2 MBT - Technical data and Discussion (Part 1)

Ypu have to link them up, for example from youtube afaik

why do they require screenshots to post, its literally impossible to capture in a still image lol

you jsut take a screen in a random moment and slap it there

actually by the way the tank moves i wouldnt be surprised they tried to model torque and failed

slapped a nice pic of the camo nets

Clearly its a SRAAM just circling you

I thint it would be better if you just took a screen in a random point in of the video, but you do you

@DevilO6 watched this video? I’m looking for spall liner evidence on the CR1.

From 8:30 it details the glycol/pressurised water jackets of the charge bins. Do we have wet bins?

To be honest, i have no idea if we have wet bins in the Cr1. It is well known here on the forum, but if it is in the game i have no idea. Nothing is said on the Xray. I would need to check data, but i cant do it rn.

I think it may only apply to the ready round bin to the left of the breach, but it should carry forward to CR2 as they’re the same type.

Afaik the Cr2 do not have wet filler, instead they are made from low flamable material and use the free space between charges to give place for the expanding gases

It depends entirely on how much tea the crew have left.

An yes, filling the bins with tea, not only does it prevent the rounds from exploding, but it also serves as a emergency supply

Just multiple facets scattered throughout the tank

So, are the bins wet or no? The info we have is that they are not

According to that video, the CR1 ready round bin (the only one shown) is wet.

Thing is, it looks exactly like a CR2 ready round bin, as it has 4 tubes.

From what i know all the wet filler got removed.

Prove it was removed! :D

My source: I drank it :D

@DevilO6
i will once again refer to my bug report
Challengers got their wet bins removed after Chieftains surviability trials, meaning Challenger 1 MK3s and a handfull of Challenger 1 Mk2s that were upgraded during Granby

It would be completly none sensical that they went back to wet ammo storage
