You guys reckon Chally 2 will be getting armor rework like the Challenger 1? If so I’m not sure if that’s good considering challenger 1 lost its front sponson composite.

It got nerfed on the cheeks, buffed mantlet and nerfed hull, so overall a bad rework. All i can do i hope 2s rework will be on the better side. And we just did a fair share of protection analysys ,so gaijin can come hera and take a thing or two
Oh yeah, the composite covering the sponsons is more effective than the one covering the crew, the crew composite has a metal plate (mounting), iirc it was like 20mm thick but volumetrically took much more space which reduces its effectiveness by like 20-30mm compared to the sponsons composite.
Not at home so can’t test it to be exact
