A single question, why doesnt the CF-188A have a carrier spawn? a carrier spawn would give this aircraft a advantage over the ARH slingers it constantly goes against, and for some reason is the only F18 that doesnt get a carreir spawn. Now i would understand this decision by gajin if it was intentional (since Canada doesnt have any aircraft carriers) exept there is one small problem, the F/A-18C Late for SWITZERLAND gets a CARRIER SPAWN. Is this a known bug by gajin or just some unbalanced intentional addition? what do you think?
I haven’t checked but maybe the CF-188A lost some of the naval equipment (to be lighter or cheaper) which would explain why.

Quite possibly, the Aussie Hornets had the gear to attach them to the catapult systems removed, the arrester hook replaced with a lighter version and the carrier landing system removed.
The real question is if the Aussie Hornets can use the carrier in game.

How so? All it gives you is spawn closer but with less altitude and slower since you are landed, how is that an advantage?

Yes, I am merely pointing out that at least some nations that do not use carriers removed the carrier capability for their Hornets. Additionally 25 of Canadas hornet ARE ex-Australian ones, so unless the decided to reinstall carrier gear for carriers the don’t have at least some of Canadas Hornets lack carrier gear.

Odd, the CF-188 should be, as it kept the naval gear. As iirc it used with the shorter artic runways. For it to have been without naval gear, Canada would have needed to buy the land horent that was never made.
As for the Aussie Hornets Canada bought, they shouldn’t have any effect as they only apply to later ones that are HEP standard, and well, we have an 80s-90s one for the CF-188.

Because Canada doesn’t have any aircraft carriers. Therefore no carrier takeoff/landing.
