Centurion Marksman - Shield against the arrows

imagine my shock when I look at the British 8.3 SPAA

surely we need another :)

Might as well add a fourth to the 8.3 lineup! But seriously, other than the hull, what will this particular variant offer over what the Chieftain Marksman already has?

Its the same turret on a different hull.

Interesting suggestion, but there would be no reason to add yet another “possible” 8.3 SPAA, unless it pushes my beloved Falcon back down!

Its not about it beeing needed or not. There were 6 additional Marksman hulls that could be suggested. I just did 5 out of them.

We need to have 8 marksmans in the british tree alone, no arguments.

Just have an entire rank dedicated to Marksmans

Man only 3? That’s not even a full lineup! cries in American

Gotta have that full line-up of nothing but SPAA

Me when the USA SPAA line is drier than my life (impossible)

There’s another another suggestion for the trials Rooikat ZA 35 without its optics

Yeah but that’s most likely going to be 7.0 or so unless they invoke the British tax and put it at 9.0 for being a faster TD compared to the ZA-35.

I actually wanted the ZA 35 IFT to be 7.7 and the Centurion Marksman can be 7.0, but Britain needs an AA from 6.7 to 8.3 (I say 6.7 cause the some might say the Bosvark is enough until then)

Cent can’t be 7.0. it’s still a marksman.

I don’t care that much but at least 7.3 as it is still a Centurion and the ZA 35 IFT would be pointless at 8.0 or 8.3 while being good 7.7 (without it sights it would only use the radar for detection as the Gunner’s sight had thermals and optical tracking)

Doesn’t have a radar

What do you mean?

Yeah but they are all AAs at the same b.r but all have different roles

The falcon is a heavy hitting, rapid fire SPG

The ZA35 is a fast, manoeuvrable, anti air with some light ground killing ability

And then you have the chieftain marksman which is best described as “target practice” for any enemy tank.

At least the centurion version would be faster. Not by much, but faster.

The Cent Marksman would be slower, as it has a 35 km/h max speed.
