there is no freaking gap, light tank jobs of scouting is being done by IFVS
you acknowledged that yourself, if their is a top tier scout vehicle the gap is filled, there is no specific gap for light tanks with cannons

thats a wish not a need, the needs are mbt, spaa, scouting vehicle, tank destroyers would be more of a wish as well, but those 3 types of vehicles are the needs for a ground line up, scout vehciles do not get differentiated between light tanks and ifvs, they share spawn costs and abilities

playstyle is a wish not a need, if you want another playstyle you research another tech tree, simple as that
