Centauro I 120 SQUADRON vehicle for the USSR tech tree

and? That fits, and I don’t care about your opinion.

That’s if we get NLOS weapons for ground vehicles.

Did they already leaked the next event vehicle?

It’d be so funny if it was, some stripped down
T-80 from some random Kharkov workshop in 1992 with absolutely no context.

Would be funny but in bad way.

I prefer actual prototypes such as black Eagle in that case.

I’d really rather not.
Ill take a 2S14 Zhalo-S though.

The soviets don’t need a centauro, consider it a mark of honour that like the US you don’t need to “yoink” kit from other tech trees to be competitive at all ranks.

And if it is really needed.
I’d personally much prefer the Cuban BTR-100 and BTR-115 instead

Chances are the Black Eagle won’t come unless they give us a version with a working loading mechanism.
They’ll probably add the object 195 or object 477 in its place.

Most likely but still, one can hope.

I thin k yes, and its all american or boats

It is Neither but the next 2 event vehicles were already confirmed.
The next event that is to happen this month is going to be a British light vehicle named after a “single-edged curved sword” so likey the Sabre, for war thunder purposes likely functionally identical to the Scimitar already in game.
The august event however will be a naval one but the reward will be a WW1 era ship in the soviet tech tree.

Almost certain the Soviet ship will be the Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya

But I’m hoping it’s the Engel with the 305 recoilless rifle

I hope not, i’d much rather it would be Aurora, she holds so much historical significance

Well I only say that is because it was leaked some time ago.

Wow what a boat how do you even fire it? yet alone reload it

D-10T on BTR-100 is meh but I am pretty much interested about that BTR-115.

A fast and mobile D-10T is meh to you?
Good sir, that gun has the nessecary punch with it’s APDSFS to still tackle most targets a Centauro I 120 would face and on top of that it has access to APHE rounds which would make it a significantly better vehicle for shots at the flank of an enemy especially if only small portions of the enemy flank are visible(think only seeing the enemy’s front sprocket and being able to go straight through that and nuking the interior of the tank)

According to link which you post it doesnt have access to APDSFS. So yes, it is meh compared to 115mm variant or 2S14 Zhalo.

That post may not mention it but the D-10T can fire the 3BM25 APDSFS round as found on the T-55A in game already.
It would seem unlikey that Cuba does not field an APDSFS round on a vehicle that is still in service as of current, they would have had either access to soviet made APDSFS rounds like the 3BM25 or later purchased Belgian, Chinese or Romanian made APDSFS rounds for the D-10T

This is one of the most hated discussion posts as the mods had to clean it up. I feel bad for @Ralin has they put effort in it.

Still think this would be a great Squadron or Event vehicle as it prevents the loss of a good soviet prototype to the event black hole.

You do realize that none of the characteristics of what you’re describing can compare to the Centauro’s, right?

That’s like saying a Sherman is a replacement for an Abrams.

The BTR-115/100, the Zhalo, and the Centauro with a 120mm gun will differ in combat rating by 3.0–4.0, if not more.

These cars are interesting too, but they’re not the same thing.
