I’m trying to install the war thunder CDK but every time I get this error:
The string for the file path is too long, there’s a character limit. As I had to do, installed the game to (my D drive where I do my work) for the shortest path. I keep hitting issues installing CDK to the Steam version because file paths are too long. My solution was to install the standalone (non-Steam) version.
Before:
D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\War Thunder\WarThunderCDK
After:
D:\WarThunder\WarThunderCDK
I got past that error, but when loading some missions I now keep getting animation errors when turning on Show Units Assets and it’s driving me up the wall
Is this listed anywhere in the documentation? I couldn’t find the solution anywhere.
