Ccvl

I think I was lucky this time, I got this vehicle from the infantry backpack thing, I got if after a few dozen crates together with a soviet biplane and i was like WTF is that? Then I almost went broke like an idiot trying to get another vehicle lol. So anyway is this thing decent? I’m actually happy cause I was thinking of buying the kvt or the wolfpack to grind the usa tree, so now i have a decent backup. I’m leaned toward the wolfack cause the kvt garbage round doesn’t ispire me at all, but I have also to wait for anniversary sale the get 50% off

I don’t have the tank but from doing a test drive here’s what i notice.

Compared to the M1 the the only thing the ccvl has going for it is the slightly better round, worse gun handling, armor and mobility looks to be on par if not slightly worse.

There’s really nothing the ccvl can do that the m1 can’t. It’ll be a good backup though.

What about kvt vs wolfpack?

They have completely different play styles and at the end of the day, it’s up to you on what you prefer. the Wolfpack is more orientated towards flanking which is my favorite play style. The m1 is a brawler but it also does okay in flanking. One thing to keep in mind is russian mbts can pen you in the turret which is one of the biggest reasons why I’m not fond of the m1

The CCVL also has a CITV, a ton of smokes and an autoloader so it’s better for bad crew skill slots.

Unfortunately one downside is it’s ammunition is not protected with blowout panels like the M1, but that is only because the devs are too incompetent or lazy to correct that bug.

Yeah I mean the wolfpack is huge and unarmored but the m1 on the other hand gets that disgusting m774 round, the turret is strong but the turret ring is butter

Do you have the ccvl? I honestly didn’t even know this thing existed before I received it. Looks good, the stock grind seem to be atrocious though

I have the XM8, which is essentially the same thing with no CITV, worse round, and the option for Composite screens which really only helps you against 30mm AP rounds, at the cost of smoke launchers.

It’s good, but both are held back by “questionable dev decisions” to put it kindly.

You just have to remember the point of both vehicles was to essentially be an air droppable Abrams. That means cutting out weight (armor). Play like a rat and you will do fine, and CCVL at least gets the ammunition it’s supposed to have so it’s competitive there.

The only USA light tank that gave me a lot of troubles is the AGS.

Don’t be envious man, buy some infantry backpacks lol

Just jocking

Its decent, sitting at 10.0 means you’re out of the 11.3-7 black hole of a BR. Its small, ratty, and M833 at 10.0 is a mean round.
