Ccrp? f100d

I’m a bit confused about what’s happening, and I have two questions.

First, with the Harrier, I’m dropping bombs in CCRP mode with the release lock, meaning I’m holding the button down. I select bombs through the hk selector and choose 4. As seen in the screenshot, the bombs fall where I intend.

Now, with the F-100D, I have 4 napalm tanks; everything is the same: tanks drop as intended sometimes, and at other times, they drop unpredictably. What does this depend on? Is it a feature of the napalm tanks? The F-100D? Am I flying too fast? Too slow? Is the aircraft’s nose pointed 0.1 degrees higher than necessary?

My second question is about occasionally dropping 2 tanks on a base with the F-100D. I select through the selector, hk, number of tanks, hk, so I have the tanks selected, and the number 2 is displayed. However, sometimes it only drops one tank. At first, I thought I was accidentally pressing the wrong button, you know how it is when you bind new hks but are used to old ones. So, I focused and made sure to press the right buttons, but sometimes the F-100D drops only one tank when two are selected. Why is this happening? Does one of the tanks think it’s already at Mach 1 while the other does not? Is there some other reason why one of the tanks decided not to drop?

I have found with the Harrier GR1, Napalm tanks dont drop overly cleanly, unlike regular bombs that tend to follow nice clear parabolic tragectories. so it might be worth releasing from a dive rather than a level drop or release from lower alt.

I’ve heard others having issues with ripple quantity but ive personally yet to experience it and I use it constantly. so not sure. Might be server desync.

(Note, never flown the F-100D, but have flown loads of other aircraft with CCRP)

The only other thing you could try is keeping the release key pressed down until all bombs have released, incase they are releasing with a slight stagger for some reason.

I don’t need to drop everything; two tanks are enough for one base. I approach the base at high speed, and I either drop and hit, or drop and miss, or something doesn’t drop at all. Either way, I’ve flown to the second base.

In the end, the F-100D doesn’t have a ballistic computer, the CCRP is unstable, and the bomb series is either 4 or 0. I’m frustrated and set up the hk, but they either work or they don’t. As a result, I have to fly like in a Wiverne, dropping tanks right under my nose. Soon, I might even have to start dropping one tank at a time. What kind of defective automation is this?

Yeah, but what I mean is press and hold until both have actually dropped. Might be a slight delay between the 2 for some reason, maybe lag?

It does, just no CCIP only CCRP. CCRP cant exist without a ballistic computer.

I have never encountered an issue

Check through my CCRP guide and maybe record a clip the next time it fails to drop using something like Nvidia Shadowplay or AMD ReLive
