When using CCRP (navigation bombing) on the F-111F, the system behaves incorrectly. With all required controls properly configured (weapon selector, bomb quantity, CCRP target designation, and cockpit weapon mode set to Bombs (AUTO)), pressing and holding the “Fire / Drop selected weapon” button causes one bomb to be released immediately instead of waiting for the release point. The CCRP indication “Waiting for release point” never appears. After this premature drop, the remaining bombs are released automatically at the correct release point as expected. The same behavior is also present on the Su-24M, which suggests a broader issue with CCRP implementation rather than a vehicle-specific control setup problem.
Try “fire secondary weapon” instead
Can you send a clip too please ?
I’ll test it shortly and see if I can replicate the issue
of course
Initial impression, it looks to be an issue relating to the keybind used to drop the bomb. I’ll do a quick test and report back
I can send you a file with the binds
Could be good to double check what controls you are using. But Tornado and Bucanneer are working correctly using weapon selection + “fire secondary weapons” keybind
Hmm…
If i set a target point using 6 and then fly over that location whilst pressing space bar it doesnt say the normal “weapon release permission” but does release the selected number of bombs on the point.
Is there any perticular reason you have fire secondary weapons & fire [insert weapon type here] bound? I personally leave all those blank.
it might be worth trying just to see if its the cause
So this:
holyskillissue keybindings modified.blk (10.3 KB)
You can also try mine:
Morvran_ M&K keybindings.blk (26.7 KB)
(I cant check F-111F or Su-24, but F-111C is working too, but I strongly doubt this is an aircraft specific issue, more likely a universal keybind issue)
I really don’t know why I had specific weapon bindings, but they didn’t interfere. I played a couple of months ago, and everything was fine. I’ll try changing the assignments, thanks for your help.
War Thunder sometimes just likes being… unpredictable.
It might also be worth just closing the game, verifying the install and re-launching.
