Who said I did that? I literally pointed out that you are bad with the Pantsir. You automatically see the Pantsir as being bad because you’re bad with it. Stop with the personal attacks and find some more suitable substance for a discussion in this thread.

Same answer for you while you never play Pantsir or fight top CAS.

I fight the Pantsir on a regular basis due to uptiers. I take it seriously as a threat. I don’t have the Pantsir yet as I don’t play Russia. I also fight top tier CAS for the same reason, uptiers. Maybe you should consider learning your vehicle first before you complain about how bad it is. If you learn how to play it to its strengths, you’ll do much better. If you don’t want to be a CAS magnet, turn your radar off and stay in a hidden position.

No it won’t, they are going to nerf the SPAAs into the ground.

90% of the maps are to small for spaa like Pantsir to hide and CAS players choose to finish Pantsir first as top priority target.

Stop wasting my time again because you keep believing spaa is overpowered.

Hence why I said “Turn off your radar”. If they can’t locate you via RWR it’s by manually looking. If I’m wasting your time then stop replying? I never stated SPAA was overpowered, I said that the Pantsir is the best SPAA in the game.

Force cockpit view, runway takeoff, and markers for planes when they’re in the ground map area, and screw up CAS in an update so they stop being such rats.

Talking about top tier here, but let’s honest here.

No sam system in the world is ever going to be able to help.

Planes spawn in at altitude, kh-38mt are volleyed off in seconds away from Sam range. Even if they were in same range the travel time for the missile means he will still get his missiles off.

Here’s how it usually goes in my ito:

  • He spawns, I see him immediately as I’m looking in that direction.
  • I fire immediately. Not because I expect to hit but I’m hoping to panic him and make him abort his run. This rarely works.
  • He volleys off his missiles and easily dodges my ito missile or just dives to the deck.
  • I call out the launch and desperately try to get away from the incoming missile. At this point I’m already dead as I have no smokes and cannot drive away fast enough in that truck. He usually gets a few other people as well.

There are a few things that would help, forced airfield spawning would be one, forced first person another, but ultimately he’s always going to get his missiles off.

The only real solution is to admit long range FnF weapons were a mistake and are unable to be balanced.

They should be removed. <10km only would be just about acceptable.

but IRIS-T SLM is capable intercepting those missiles IRL

I’m sure it is, and does so with great effectiveness in real life.

The problem are two fold - 1) saturation. Sure, it may get some or all of the missiles but then you’re reloading and get hit by another guy doing the same thing. 2) only one nation will have that missile.

The Swedish one might be able to do it, but it only has 4 missiles (8 with an ammo box) so the saturation is even easier and its range is much reduced. One su-30sm is capable of depleting its missiles and still having two of its own left over.

Fundamentally, these things are not able to be balanced in game. There’s no shame in admitting they were a mistake and removing them.

Maybe so, but that will be a Russian system so won’t help everyone else unless gaijin do something disgusting like giving the Indian buk to Britain.

The new Sam systems are a sticking plaster in a gaping chest wound. Systematic changes are required.

I switch to ir lock and fire when they are in range
Works alot of the time and u still have time to intercept anything that isnt kh38 but even then its not extreamly hard just need to be aware

Why is having TO only mode considered stealing another mode.

Players want to play combined arms? They pick that mode.
Players want TO mode - they pick that one.

No stealing. Both modes available. Give the people what they want.
