half true: It is a skill issue, however, it is not easy. I didn’t learn to use SPAA in a day, takes a lot of time and practice. Using WW2 SPAA require a lot more skill than you think.
Any SPAA with an decently fast firing autocannon (pretty much anything above 120 rpm) can easily be done well in by any1 with basic positioning and target lead skills.
The reason CAS is so powerful I’d cause everyone who plays SPAA just sits in spawn firing at targets well outside their range. It’s always frustrating when I try to bait CAS to come closer by shooting in some random direction away from it, only for my teammate to fire at him and ruin it.
Then why is your record at shooting down planes with spaa mediocre at best?
If it’s so easy and anyone can do it, why are you not more successful?
Or are you not adhering to your own “positioning” advice?
Was about to ask him that same question to him lol Though im sure its because he uses them to fight tanks instead of doing the job it was mainly designed to do.
It’s for the same reason that most of my SPAA kills are against tanks.
because its only true wen you are in a plane?
Because there’s more ground targets than air targets, and also CAS doesnt really effect the match a whole lot.
You don’t have the ability/skill to shoot down planes, so you need to attack ground vehicles to justify the use of spawn points on the spaa.
lol, CAS haters can’t comprehend the idea of som1 doing well with SPAA, cuz they themselves suck.
You keep deflecting. You keep saying spaas (even in WW2 erea) are GREAT at shooting down CAS. But you offer no proof - not even your own stats.
I said WW2 SPAA are braindead easy to play, and the fact that you somehow perform poorly in em is quite sad.
Which is why your Death to CAS kill ratio is 53-37…
EZ-PZ.
Are you repeating the same answer again when you are losing a discussion?
Pretty much.
They either keep repeating the same answer like a parrot … OR … move the goal-posts to re-direct the narrative.
It’s called the Donald J. Trump method.
“losing a discussion” lmao
I believe we share similar thoughts : we’re both frustrated with being revenge-killed. The difference is that if I have enough spawn points, I would retaliate, whether with SPAA, CAS, or air superiority aircraft, while you prefer to avoid such situations. Please point out if you disagree.
Addition: Although this post has remained open for voting and comments, much of the content is now completely different from two years ago. For instance, the new modular air defense systems introduced in this version have clearly demonstrated their vehicle strength. The spawn points for CAS have already been increased, which is entirely different from the situation two years ago. Of course, it’s undeniable that the strength of CAS is still somewhat inflated, as CAS primarily focuses on air-to-ground interactions. Introducing more air-to-air interactions to support aircraft countering CAS could improve this situation. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and suggestion.
This is exactly what I mentioned earlier: to extend game duration, the developers have had to make compromises. If air vehicles could be used to research ground vehicles, many players might be willing to use air vehicles, as their efficiency is significantly higher.
yes, you should of gotten more. I agree :)
While the new spaa systems are pretty fun for swatting the gnats out of the sky it would still be beneficial to implement many of the changes asked for from people on both sides of the argument. I personally still stand by that ground needs its own mode just like air rb
