We had f16c, which dominated cas. Russia was suffering. Im a usa main and im not afraid to say that russia was suffering. Now the tables turned, and with patience, they will turn again. Remember, usa still dominates in present day irl, so if vehicles keep getting added (and DU armor) we might have somewhat balance.

Now im not saying i want usa to be op. Because i still want a challenge whilst fighting russia. If there is no challenge and only point and click, there is no fun. Same reason why i play low tier
Btw im canadian, i have no bias towards usa or russia (maybe british and france)
The correct thing would be to nerf CAS and Buff SPAAs like Pantsirs, FlaRakRads, and other Mobile SAMs. I agree that CAS ultimately hurts Ground and is the main thing preventing people to actually want to spawn a 2nd or 3rd tank.

The F-16 couldn’t dominate because the Pantsir C1 was unbalanced. In addition, the Mavericks were nerfed most of the time. One tank required 2 Mavericks, which doesn’t even compare to the X-38MT, which is a 100% one-shot.
Pantsir was not in game back then

they really arent though, their seeker is worse than b mav seeker and the f16a doesnt have a targeting pod so it needs to be very close to find targets
also pantsir was added very quickly after f16a while su34 with kh38 has been a problem for much longer than that

2 kills to get into the su30 with 5 kh38ml btw.
SP shouldn’t be calculated based on guidance type, it should be based on lethality. It would be impossible for me to do the same in an F-15E because the only weaponry I can spawn in (2kills) with is unassisted gbus which is no where near as lethal as kh38mls.
It does have greater kill count capabilities but it’s hard to use them when there’s pantsirs and such that can intercept them quite easily. Only pop up attacks work but that’s extremely risky

Bro summarized our struggle so easily. Gg bro. But honestly, we can find a way to defeat pantsirs. I just launch gbu 39 from airfield then go back down. Pantsir tries to intercept, gets only 12 max and im still back up in the air with more gbu 39 that can hit 20km away. Bonus, if you clusterbomb the map, you can mark targets for allies if they hit. Now i know it aint as fun as kh38 and using stuff that is op, but i like it personally. Try it out. And if you get your hand on a rat vehicle (xm800t im looking at you) you get to infiltrate their spawn on ground and kill pantsirs with funny rat tank. Also, maneuver a lot, their missiles are funky and most likely using tws whilst the pantsir is trying to destroy the gbu39 that is cluttering up its radar.

you wanna wins against Russia you need to able to do CAP fast as possible while Pantsir trying to kill you too so say bye bye to something like Altitude advantage and Vertical maneuver because you aren’t gonna have such luxury against them
most typical match in GRB top tier of my usually look like this (which shouldn’t be normal in GRB)
and when need to take out one it needs to be fast because even if they die and they successful launching their KH-38 teammate are done for either way

I kill any CAS that spawn in front of me but unlike other RU i spit on their face everytime i killed them.
