I must say that although his stats might be bad (mine are much worse) CAS is unrelated to them. One can run their mouth on whatever they want as long as they play the game.
Yeah, I’ve seen that. I’d understand it up to a certain point if we were discussing a specific vehicle but we’re all ranting about how CAS performs (be it good or bad).
This is why every CAS thread is shunned into the existing ones… No matter what the mentioning, it’s always back to the demand for the planes to be removed, and scoffing at anything anyone else has to say regarding mere effort and actual thinking.
The trouble that comes with this group, is they’ve all tried to make it about gatekeeping rather than actual discussion… They’ll only ‘discuss’ and remain civil with those who will align with them and their want, but anyone who objects ‘deserves’ their ire in thier eyes.
It’s actually problematic, and I suspect they carry this mentality into the game itself.
Well yeah, to be honest I don’t like CAS, but that’s probably because the AA I use is from 2 decades before the introduction of these CAS platforms (Israel). However I do still get one kill at least (the average Sukhoi that flies in without even moving). I do still think that making a TO mode would solve part of the problems, however, the CAS players (and minimal SPAA players) would be limited to only play ARB 2.0. Many TO defenders only think for what benefits them most, however the combined arms would be eventually removed bacause no one would play it. I already stated something in the past and am too lazy to say the exact same thing again, quit the laziness and read, people.
But it’s the removal of the threat, for them, that makes it directly what I say… It’s not how you make out that it’s being made out to be…
After all, I don’t care if they get thier own mode, I just don’t think it’s going to do any good for the wider playerbase, or them themselves… Whilst they’ll be all safe in there, they’re not going to be comparable in stats because they face lesser threats, and aren’t needing to be as aware as they should be able to be.
It’s not about splitting the queues, it’;s not about queuetimes, it’s not about the extra work… It’s why should they get this special consideration, and a special gamemode, to avoid the risks they are facing in the normal modes, because they want it easier… They awnt to not die as much to whatever, and that brings it around to the next point…
Give them this sort of thing, then what is the next thing they’ll want removed so they can cope…
Nah, you’re definitely giving it a real go… You’re good, and honestly, half of the issue with CAS, is merely hoping that people will be aware, and ready to also pull out an SPAA.

I’d like to see the radar battery SPAA/SAM sets, so we can possibly have groups using one battery, or a ‘need’ to be around the main battery to gain the advantage from such a thing.
There’s so much more in options, than just removal.
I do afraid that gaijin will add to op spaa(ahm ahm pantsir vs maveriks slingers) and then cas will suffer

More SPAA overall would be awesome, throughout the entire trees, just because there are nations like as shacortes said, Israel, and others that are a little light on the SPAA side of things, and to be honest, I wouldn’t have issue with M13/M16/M19/M42 being more copy pasted, maybe with even variants with other weapon sets on them.
Copy paste isn’t bad, if it’s tasteful. If the country had it, then fine… If it didn’t, then there’s a problem.
Me when Gaijin haven’t even added new and better SPAA and we already have people afraid that “SPAA will be too OP and CAS will suffer”.
Me when CAS have to work for their kill instead of point and click , killing MBT/Light that doesn’t know an A2G coming their way
If they did just copy-paste pantsir it wouldn’t really solve the issue, but what they’re saying is accurate… If you did just slap the top teirs with vehicles that are OP, then you’d kill that entire gameplay loop, so you wouldn’t want to just slap that in.
There should be a thread with an assortment of various SPAA vehicles that have been used over time, and up for being looked at.
