Their is only one CAS weapon that is can’t be effectively counter at least 25% of the time and it is the KH-38MTs, they need to add better AA and keep CAS how it is. Additionally bigger maps will make it harder for CAS to do a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Finally if they do add SAM systems CAS will need to get Anti Rad to balance it.
you wouldnt have to remove SPAAs, many are still capable of killing tanks
there could be another gamemode for combined gameplay. such an incredibly simple solution that works for everyone

That’s wrong! Big maps don’t mean cover and good gameplay experience for ground players. We have big maps what are mostly unplayable for ground and completely open, so CAS with thermals can easily pick targets + spawn zones are well known.
Then add proper cover to big maps…

Arcade is terrible. Its there for learning but i say u should aways throw urself in the deep end.

And SB is also a thing. I play props. I’ve had games decided by a frontline attacker or a fighter-bomber going to town on NPC tanks. IL-8s are menaces, I tell you.
You mean buildings? Would you like city map size of fulda? Or red sands? That’s would be next level trash for ground gameplay.
Or like proper foliage, maybe more things like the Vietnam map with those mounds which make some decent cover. It would also allow people to snip if they made the maps bigger.
Wasn’t much better in the past where SPAA were always equivalent to the threat and unlike now you had to learn to deflection half-decently to bring them down. If anything the only thing that was only temporary was the CAS rampage eras like the HVAR’s being nukes or SACLOS physics nerf destroying all missile SPAA for a while. Every other period has almost always had this same debate going on and the same shit being said.
Why should they not? “They” can cope all day about their tanks only mentality but the reality is the best GRB players are ones who play Tanks, SPAA, light tanks, planes, helis all at once. If players want to use heli, or larp desert storm in planes, or whatever they wanna play: then that’s on them. Like I said, current GRB by design isn’t mean to appease this and that’s not a problem unless you let it be.
SPAA isn’t sitting in spawn unless you let it be either, though these days I rarely need to go scout/attempt to murder tanks since CAS isn’t uncommon and scout drones are powerful and make easy income to counter. Most games I don’t even touch aircraft because I simply don’t need to, often just don’t feel like it especially if I’m grinding tanks hard.
Vietnam?? You serious? One of the worst maps in game for ground battles, every time I’m getting it, i leave, as 3-4 players from both teams.
You want all maps to be like Vietnam? That’s would be disaster.
It’s funny, but previously 2CS6 and ADATS had the same BR.

this is a videogame, just add a gamemode for people who want to play tanks.

Game and Ground TTs evolved more than enough to grant us a TO mode. Seeing how you can play air only but can’t do the same for tanks is weird.
