If the T-90A ‘Trophy’ is added to USA tech tree then this rule should not be applied. If we use the basic definition of fair treatment, then captured vehicles will be added left and right just because one recieved a captured vehicle. It’s common sense that Gaijin didn’t added the said T-90A yet.

This is true for most leaks.
Leaks said we should be getting mega East European TT in approximate future, Leo2 for China, and 5th gen this year… I believe in those more simply because them leakers were often prooven right, and that screenshot with T-90 was also discussed by leakers, yet in a span of one major update it was forgotten, while the rest was actually commented on more or less by officials
i mean we also had the model for that one argentine aircraft show up once and then nothing ever happend atleast yet
These two leaks came from two different individuals, the one with all the sub trees proceeds to prove itself wrong except a few things anyone could guessed. The “T-90A Trophy” comes from Olivia which everyone knows as very reliable, not only that Gaijin themselves showed it in a video of their own, that’s where the screenshot comes from.
In fact, that is not the only trace of American T-90. There was also some leak that was featuring updated wiki, and there was a line I believe covering the US T-90. Not sure I will find it tho
Again, was American T-90, or even the subject of modern captured equipment, discussed by officials?

When did it ever matter if it was talked about by officials, they usually don’t say anything about them until they release a dev blog or some sort of Q&A.
The proof of their existence was released by gaijin themselves 😆
So the subject will always be there.
And that is the thing. People were asking about independent nations, and devs stated sub-trees are defined for this year yet not for the next one (speculation for new independent nation in 2026 like Poland or Cz-Sk or Yugo), people were rumoring about Gen 5 because leaks, and devs suddenly reacted with “we are not planning them for this year”, but I honestly guess it is not completely true because plans change quite rapidly here.
When SG Leo2 was “leaked”, the community was not so happy. Call me a madman but I kind of believe in a schizo theory that this leak was made to stress test the community, whether they will approve such an addition, and the answer didn’t take too long.
And so believe is the case of T-90A. That is also the reason we haven’t had any mention of it neither in newer official news/Q&A/blogs nor leaks. That’s what I think, at very least
Let hope Gaijin don’t lack braincell enough to do they should have enough with these BS
