After sending a chat message, sometimes one of the last characters I typed is no longer working once I exit chat. For instance, if the last letter I typed was W, the W key no longer works after I exit chat. This is very confusing.
Control can be regained by going back into chat, typing nothing, and returning again to exit chat.
Am I alone in this?
I have funky chat things where if I didn’t type in a message in the last match and left it like that it will carryon to the next match but I have regained control by simply tapping the key as sometimes my WASD keys (if I press them as my first letter in chat) they will slam my plane one direction and that correction of a slight tap on the key is vital to regain control.
Has been happening to me too. Same, reopening and hitting ESC to exit chat will clear it. Annoying bug.
Tho it has happened to me once or twice.
Ah yes, I know this one as well.
It happens because there are actually two chat windows, but they look identical. So you type into one, but then the game mode changes and from then on you’re using the other one. So when you start a new match and bring up the chat again, you get the text you typed into the “other one” again.
This would be fixed if they simply cleared the buffer when you switched mode from lobby to in-game.
