Cannot send forum messages

I tried to send a forum message to a mentor of mine. On the plus side: name search autocompletion.
On the minus side, after you select the recipient, who has an “@live” at the end of their name that you cannot edit away, you get the message that you cannot send to email.
Which I am not trying to, stupid forum thingy.

Hey.

You should have PM functionality enabled from basic user level onwards.

To do this, you need:

  • Entering at least 5 topics
  • Reading at least 30 posts
  • Spend a total of 10 minutes reading posts

After this, it should work fine. I’ve sent you a PM to check o7

I can send PMs just fine - just some recipients show with a suffix of “@live” to their usernames.
And those I can NOT send to.

@live are XBOX users
You SHOULD be able to PM them as long as you keep the @live in the name…
But…forum is new…not sure if this is an issue…
If you want to test, you can PM me…i am not @live, but i am @psn…should be the same…

EDIT:
Just realized my @psn disapeared…have to check what is going on

Well, as long as the “@live” is in the name, one can NOT PM them, as the system thinks this is an email address and refuses.
