Canadian Sexton Mk.II

Could have the Mk IIs armed with the 25pdr HESH, and the Mk I without? Just as an added point of differentiation

Not sure if I’ve ever seen HESH be mentioned but it’s possible that it was done but I’d want to find proof of that just to verify the information

Per below links, a squash head shell was used by 25 pdr guns. These were issued to replace AP after the war, and the Sexton was in service throughout the 50s.

One of the French coastal vessels just got what I think is the first 25pdr in the game, and it does have AP. But being a quick firing naval gun version I’m not sure its AP has as much pen as something like the Sexton would have.

Like a lot of artillery in wt, are you new in game?

Coming back around to this, I think a great way to split the two Sextons in WT is to limit one to AP and HE (service shells at least during war) and the other to postwar and experimental shells, like HESH, APDS, etc.

Mk I for wartime shells, Mk II for the other kinds, or well, those are my thoughts.

I agree totally. One to represent wartime service, and the later model to reflect technological advancements and post war service.

OP, please spoiler some stuff in your post.

+1 for Sexton vehicles.

Gaijin should have added this to GB instead of the M44.

I would be curious to see this with HESH- it looks like a fun vehicle. +1
