On the Copy-Paste argument, it’s not like Germany doesn’t have:
3 x Pz. 38ts
3 x Pz. IIIs with L/42 50mm
3 (4 with the TD) x Pz. IIIs with L/60 50mm
3 x Pz. IVs with L/24 75mm
5 x Pz. IVs with L/43 75mm
Nor the US with:
3 x M4 with 75mm M3
3 x M4 with 76mm M1
3 x M3 Stuart
Even the Soviets with:
6 x T-34 with 76mm L-11 or F-34
There is precedent for having multiple tanks with very little to distinguish themselves even within the 3 largest trees in game. I think a few more Rams or Centurions isn’t too much of a problem.
People doesn’t seem to get that Canada has enough unique vehicles for a whole tech tree, they keep saying the thing is just a copy and past. What about ship? We got the HMCS Haida and other tribal class destroyers, we have a lot of unique war vehicles that doesn’t come from the oh so big USA and Germany, we have our country that is powerful and unique in its own ways. Please stop saying Canada is a copy and paste if you cannot read what everyone put hours and days of efforts in showing you that Canada has a lot of unique vehicles and more than enough to fill it’s own tech tree. Also to add, Canada was the only country able to complete their task in Normandy. If you think Canada is a sub country or some random country that is always nice and doesn’t need recognition, start doing your researches
No doubt about that. But for the one person who would like to see full scale mockups in-game (me), I have to wonder if said mockup is meant to represent a real cannon that was planned.
To take a guess, it’s somewhat reminiscent of the OQF 3-pounder tank gun in my opinion.
I thought it was fake at first but it is legit, now I wonder was it just a left over turret welded to the Sherman hull for target practice/armour testing? Or was it a fully functional tank at one point.
