Good points here.
Nothing against Canada… mostly just against copy-paste.
I understand the desire to have Canadian vehicles (not just skin)… but on the other hand it is hella annoying to play against an entire team of (for example) functionally identical MiG-15bis from 3 trees at 7.7-8.7.
I can honestly live with the fact we will probably never see a Canadian tech tree; but there are feasible things that could be done as a half way point.
The main thing is to pull away from them only being premiums, fomo event vehicles; and most importantly not scattered across multiple nations. More decals and skins would help too to a lesser extent.

It’s not the only solution, but I also think it would also be cool to expand the metadata associated with skins to effectively convert a vehicle in real time into one of a different nation.
For example, if you slap a Canadian skin on the NF-5A, it acquires a Canadian flag, Canadian/English voice lines, credit towards tasks requiring Canadian vehicles, etc.
Well, unlikely to get weapons that are WT possable the first RCAF PC-21 is on the way.

Other major news, for something that will be WT possible one day,
The P-8 Poseidon fleet Canada had ordered had a major milestone in February, with the main body of the airframe being put together.
I do like that but I also don’t at the same time.
The reason is because it would affect a couple things:
A: The price of those skins would go up on market because of demand and people willing to pay more due to it providing more active benefits.
B: You would then have something that can help tasks or potentially other benefits that are now paywalled essentially.
So I like it but the features would have to be very carefully picked.
Well, relevant to this - Canada is purchasing 6 M-346 T Block 20s for lead-in fighter training. Add that to the pile
I uhh- can’t.
International Test Pilots School (ITPS) seem to be a private company for aircraft training.
It is not the Future Fighter Lead-in Training (FFLIT) aircraft, so it’s not for the RCAF and, in turn, not the CT-155 replacement.
I’m sure Gaijin can make a few exceptions (rule of cool and all) /j
It will be operating out of CFB North Bay however, but like I’m not sure what Gaijin’s rules on ownership are.
Think it falls under private military stuff, and right now those aren’t looked at(modified might get around it)
However, it dose likely push FFLIT towards the M-346(going by comments I saw), due to commonality with not only ITPS but other international flight schools as well.
Canada has begun talks to acquire the M-346 Master for its next jet trainer. Of course, at this stage nothing is final, so we can’t consider adding it(if it’s possible to add in the first place), but it does mean that, as long as nothing falls through, it will be the jet trainer Canada buys
