The sepv3 as of right now is worse than the sepv2 and 2a7v
We have a challenger 2 LEP incorrectly labelled a SA challenger 3, we also have an Ajax (the shortest serving military vehicle in history) so I think it’s highly probable to come some day

Honestly, the way Gaijin showed SEPV3, I don’t even know if I want to see 2A8 in this game.

Acting like the 2a7 isn’t worse than a early 90s prototype
the sepv3 is basically a slightly worse 2a4 at 2 brs higher and i mean that with experience using the 2a4 and regular sep (the regular sep is the exact same as the v3)
I doubt it, i have a pretty high kd with the hc. Abrams aren’t bad whatsoever even their armor is good, better than every leopard that isnt a 2a7
They’d probably start off with the 2A7A1 before that, 2A8 probably gets added after stuff like the T-90M2
We don’t really need the A8. What we need is an update for existing German Leopard II tanks. Its still stuck at DM23 (A4) and DM53 (the rest). Shells which are just obsolete.
Leopard 2A4:
DM33, what should I say…its the shell it used^^
Leopard 2A5 and A6:
DM63 (SCDB safe propellants, no fatal ammunition detonations for these shells).
Leopard 2A7:
DM73 (SCDB safe propellants and more of it; more pressure, higher velocity, more pen, the whole point of the new high pressure gun of the Leopard 2A7)
The new service shell DM83 is supposed to go live next year. So time to catch up a bit. Its 2026 and Top Leopards still have to rely on DM53. A shell from the past millenium, phased out long ago.
There should be also the A1 Trophy mod for the 2A7. So we finally get a tank with Trophy as well (Leopard 2A7A1 ).
That would be it. The A8 could be introduced when the new DM83 shell is live.

First logical step would probably just be giving the Leopards better shells.
DM63 for better survivability, DM73 for better pen and Anit-ERA as Gaijin considers it a marketing lie for the DM53.
