I think they’ll add it in the next two updates. You better get to grinding.

it’d be pretty cool if they add a Desert storm map where every 9 minutes there’s a sand storm

there is no F-18, but there is an F/A-18 which will be added probably next year by the summer release.
Rumor mill has it that they are trying to work out a brand deal with Top Gun to incorporate it into the game when it hits.
technically there are, the finnish and swiss (or the swiss atleast used to) operate hornets under the name of F-18

Well if we add the F-18, What will be the next top tier fighter? F-22? SU-57? J-20? F-35?
or will war thunder have to make up aircraft?
F/A-18 will not be a Meta Defining fighter
F-35 is likely coming before F-22 because it’s an attacker with less Air to Air capabilities but we’ve still got plenty of F-15/16 Variants remaining to fill the time until then
