J-35J would be so nice to have. and yeah there is nothing stopping it from having chaff and flare pods. As others have pointed out Sweden did put chaff and flares on the S-35. Adding them dont require much in terms of modification and could have been done easily.
only having 1 tech tree draken and 3 in the premium section (one squadron and 2 premium) is kinda stinky. Especially as draken is just the objectively best plane ever… totaly unbiased opinion
Two more pics of the S-35E. The first one you can see the area where the CM is mounted. Granted it is operated by the Danish Airforce though that wouldn’t matter since the S-35 in Danish service unlike their other variants they operated is identical to their Swedish counterparts.
The second pic is of a S-35E as a door guard. This time once operated by the Swedish Airforce. More clear image of the back portion. The outer case for the CM’s still being present even after being decommisioned
Even our basic F-35s received CM upgrades the only problem is they had only 2x aim 9Bs
Still would have a purpose since it still be a ground pounder which the Swedish Draken didn’t operate in that role, just more specialised in that role due to the weaker missiles.
Has the same CM as the WDNS and same engine so maybe 9.7?
